Scam
The apartment was good, the location fantastic. The price was also okay. The communication with the owner was good. However, I did not get my full deposit back. On the day of departure, the contact person on site came by for the key handover and apartment handover. I had previously washed everything and swept. During my stay, I had opened the window. Suddenly, a gust of wind came, the window swung once, and the vase that was on the windowsill broke. I described this to the contact person and explained to her that it was very dangerous because there were no stoppers at this window, so it couldn't even tip over. She was satisfied with the cleaning of the apartment. Everything was in perfect order. However, the owner deducted 50 euros from the deposit due to a simple broken vase. When I complained about this, I was first accused of the window handle being broken as well. That is the first accusation. When someone persisted, as it is absolutely not true, I was also accused of not having cleaned. Outrageous and very cheeky. Therefore, I cannot recommend this accommodation in any way. Pure rip-off.

Key handover upon arrival worked great, bakery, butcher, etc. all in close proximity, top equipment, gladly again, is recommended.

The reception by the contact person went smoothly. She was on site in 15 minutes after my call and explained everything very well. Everything also went very quickly on departure.
The flat was very clean and functionally furnished, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Shopping facilities, bakery and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Due to the location, directly on the promenade, you have a very nice view of the beach and the sea, even from the breakfast table.
To avoid driving and looking for parking, you can easily use the tram. The stop is right outside the front door.
The car was parked all the time in the parking garage, by the swimming pool. (approx. 6 euros per day)
The rental price is very reasonable, considering the great location to the beach and the city centre.
The holiday was very relaxing and there is nothing to stop us from booking again.
The final bill and the refund of the deposit was done already 1 day after departure.

Arrive and feel good
My daughter and I received a very friendly welcome and the handover of the keys went smoothly. The flat is perfectly and cosily furnished. We wanted for nothing! The quiet location of the flat is also very good. We were able to use the beach right in front of the door every day because of the good weather and we used the late afternoon for strolling and shopping in beautiful Middelkerke. It was a successful and relaxed long weekend. Thanks again to the landlady for allowing us to book the great flat at such short notice. One day after departure we already got the deposit back, we have never experienced anything like this before. Simply great! To sum up, we can recommend this flat 100% and if the opportunity arises, we will certainly come back for a mother-daughter weekend.
