OUR HOUSE IS IN FIRST ROW ONLY 20m FROM FINE GRAVEL BEACH. The rock of Brela is considered a natural monument, a landmark of this Adriatic pearl and integral part of the beautiful pebble beaches. Taken in isolation, it is the visitors remain safe in memory. There are several legends about the origin of the rock in the sea, but in any case it is a unique phenomenon.
The beach Dugi rat is the most beautiful beach of Brela, he attracts bathers with crystal clear water and the shade of century old pines.
Remarkable landscapes, beaches and a forest park - a protected landscape. Brela is well known for its unique nature: the wonderful, dense coniferous forest, whose branches even spread over the beaches, bathers provides a natural protection against the warm summer sun. The beach stretches for 6 km, so they will surely discover in this section also the ideal beach to yourself. Makarska as the center of the Riviera and the coastal area is rich in cultural sites: the main square with the cathedral of St. Mark and the Franciscan monastery with its richly appointed Malacological Museum (Shell Museum)..

KATASTROPHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vorsicht Leute!!!!!!!!! als meine Tochter,ich und meine 2 Enkelkinder (17 Monate und 3 Jahre) uns per Mail nochmals extra über die Entfernung zum Strand informiert haben, hieß es es wären nur ein paar Treppen zum gehen und das "APARTMENT" wäre für uns optimal, haben wir nicht einmal träumen können was uns erwartet.Das Apartment erwies sich als ein Zimmer mit einer "Küche" im Flur ohne Tür (d.h. sobald etwas gekocht wurde verbreitete sich der ganze Geruch im Zimmer wo wir alle zusammen schlafen mussten). Also ist hierbei von einer Küche gar keine Rede. Essen konnte man nur am Balkon da es in dem "Apartment" kein Platz dafür gab.Vom Fernseher ist auch keine Rede, da dieser von 10 Tagen, nur an 2 funktionierte. Von der Straße bis zum Haus sind es genau 50 Treppen und vom Haus bis zum Strand nochmals 50. Das heißt stellt das Auto auf der Strasse ab, schleppt die ganzen Sachen zum Haus und dann viel Spaß beim sachenschleppen bis zum Strand. (und das alles mit 2 kleinen Kindern)Ein einziges Restaurant in der Nähe, Gerichte die nicht vom Grill sind muss man einen Tag vorher bestellen, bis zum nächsten Geschäft.......viel Spaß, kein Kiosk in der Nähe und bis zum Zentrum ist diese Angabe von 10 Gehminuten, eine absolute Verarschung. Falls Ihr ins Zentrum wollt, bitte ins Auto setzen und faaaaaaaaaaaaaaahren. Bitte gut überlegen ob Iht tatsächlich dahin wollt !!!!!!!!!!! Wir wollten zwar was ruhiges aber das war der absolute REINFALL
