The facility provides 14 studios which have air conditioning, kitchenettes and refrigerators. The complex is located in a small forest between the main road and the beach. It includes three buildings which frame an inner yard with gardens. There is also a swimming pool of 120 square meters size which has a shallow section for children. The facility furthermore has a sauna. Aside the reception desk, there is a lounge with a TV corner, a spacious breakfast room, and a bar. All dwelling units have separate entrances. A sun terrace is located by the swimming pool. Deck-chairs and umbrellas are free there. On the beach a fee will be levied. The sandy beach slopes gently to the water and this way also suits for little children very well. The studios for up to 3 persons are tastefully furnished. All have bathroom/WC, sitting-corner, kitchenette, refrigerator, telephone, air conditioning, TV set and balcony or terrace. All dwelling units have individually adjustable air conditioning units which can be switched to heating mode during chilly springtime or autumn nights. You can book breakfast with your room. It is prepared as a buffet in the breakfast room. Each dwelling unit has a kitchenette with a sink, an electric hob with 2 hot-plates, and a refrigerator with freezer compartment. The Perla Studios are approximately in the village center of Aghia Marina, immediately on the mile-long sandy beach. The property spreads from the mile-long sandy beach in one of the most scenic places around the bay up to the main road of Aghia Marina. Restaurants, tavernas, kafenions and bars line up like a string of pearls there, and on the sea side many kinds of watersports are on offer. Right opposite there is the island of Thodorou which is a nature preserve. Public busses connect to the city of Hania (9 kms) every 30 minutes. The nearest bus stop is approx. 100 meters from the house by the main road. Hania airport is 25 kms away, Iraklion airport 155 kms.

Aghia Marina is one of the hotel suburbs of Hania, located in the bay of Hania just opposite the small island of Thodorou. The bigger hotel sites of the region concentrate here and in the two neighbouring villages of Platanias and Kato Stalos, followed by wide ranging gastronomic and sports offers. Aghia Marina however also has many smaller hotels and private apartment facilities, and the shops and restaurants on the scene are prepared for the demands of individual tourism.
