Our bright and cosy holiday apartment extends over two floors with approx. 70m2 of living space
On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, the bright and friendly bathroom and the living area with dining corner and kitchen
The living area with its cosy sitting area invites you to spend quiet evenings reading or watching TV. A flat-screen TV, DVD player and stereo system are a matter of course.
From here you have direct access to the sheltered balcony.
The kitchen is fully equipped (4-plate ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster etc.) and leaves nothing to be desired.
The bright and friendly bathroom has a washing machine that can be used free of charge.
On the second floor there are two spacious and friendly bedrooms with a total of three sleeping possibilities.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday flat is located directly in the "village centre" of Schillig on the "smallest pedestrian zone in the world" in Schillig. Shopping facilities, street cafés and restaurants are in the direct vicinity and are no further than 50 m away.
You can reach the extensive beach on foot in max. 5 minutes. The adventure playground and surf school are also just a stone's throw away from our flat. Schillig is a quiet, small but fine seaside resort directly on the North Sea
Due to its special location, you will find the same stimulating climate here as on the East Frisian islands.
With its long sandy beach sloping gently into the sea, Schillig is ideal for a holiday with the whole family.
Children will find ideal conditions for building castles or splashing around in knee-deep water. The adventure playground located directly on the beach also invites you to play.
Those who prefer a more tranquil setting can rent a beach chair or find "their" spot in the extensive dunes and enjoy the view of the wide open sea.
Mudflat walks, cycling or geocaching round off the offer for an eventful holiday.

Holiday to feel good
We traveled with two adults and three children and felt immediately at home.
In addition, the ideal location for a beach vacation vacation and even with our own beach chair!
The apartment was very clean and comfortably furnished.
The "children's room" had a range of games and there were also books in the apartment.
Even a travel cot and an Ikea high chair are available! Great!!
Small minus point: a stair gate would have been desirable ;-)
We will gladly come back.

Kinderfreundliche Wohnung in toller Lage
Die Wohnung unmittelbar über dem Fahrradverleih in Schillig war für unseren Familienurlaub mit zwei Kleinkindern (1 und 3 Jahre) ideal. Kinderreisebett (und Matratze), Babykostwärmer und Hochstuhl sind vorhanden. Die Treppe zum oberen Stockwerk war auch für unsere Dreijährige gut gehbar. Die Wohnung ist (abgesehen von der Treppe, von der wir unseren Kleinen fernhalten mussten) recht kindersicher: es sind uns keine Steckdosen im unmittelbarer Reichweite der Kinder aufgefallen, der in früheren Kommentaren erwähnte Glastisch wurde durch einen robusten Holztisch ersetzt, es gibt eine rutschhemmende Matte in der Dusche.
Der Kinderwagen lässt sich im Hauseingang "parken". Leider ist das Haus recht hellhörig: zwar haben wir uns nicht gestört gefühlt, hatten aber so unsere Bedenken, dass die Nachbarn vom Geschrei unserer Kleinen gestört werden (duch die Zeitumstellung noch eine Stunde früher als sonst ...).
Auf jeden Fall unschlagbar: die Lage. Nur durch das Deichtor durch und schon am herrlichen Strand von Schillig, an dem die Kinder nach Herzenslust buddeln und matschen können. Auch der große Spielplatz begeisterte unsere Kleinen. Natürlich gab es im Herbst einige Strandattraktionen (z.B. Strandbar für die Großen, Trampolin für die Kleinen) weniger als im Sommer, aber das war für uns nebensächlich.
Wir haben uns für die Bettwäschemiete entschieden und freundliche und saubere Zimmer vorgefunden. Wenn es möglich gewesen wäre, hätten wir auch Handtücher gemietet, da wir mit zwei Kindern auch so schon genügend Gepäck mitschleppen.
