Welcome to our comfortable holiday flat on the outskirts of Vohenstrauß. Here you can spend quiet and relaxing holidays!
Your holiday day can start with a breakfast in the sun on our newly created breakfast terrace.
When the weather is nice, you can relax on the view-protected terrace or in the sun loungers on the lawn, or on rainy days you can stretch out on the large couch in the cosy living room for two and read, watch TV (SAT-LCD-TV) or a DVD.
In the evenings, you can enjoy a romantic barbecue at the open fireplace in the stone round with a swivel grill, a stick bread or sausage on a spit.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, combi oven, induction hob, toaster, coffee machine, pad machine, kettle and blender.
The beds are individually adjustable via variable slatted frames.
If required, you can switch on underfloor heating in the bathroom.
WLAN is activated free of charge.
Our lovingly designed and extra fenced-in holiday flat garden (fence height 1m) makes our flat an ideal domicile also for your dogs.

Location and surroundings of object
We live on the edge of a quiet housing estate. Behind our house are fields and meadows with a stream and ponds. After about 100m you reach the Pfalzgraf-Friedrich hiking trail and after m the Bockl cycle path, a cycle path on an old railway line, which can also be cycled by inexperienced cyclists in two days to the right and left in its entire length. Bicycles can be rented.
Hundreds of well-marked cycling and hiking trails invite you to discover the Upper Palatinate nature with its seemingly endless forests, countless ponds, babbling brooks and hidden little villages.
In the flat you will find up-to-date hiking maps and a variety of elaborated hiking suggestions.
The proximity to the border invites you to beautiful excursions to our Czech neighbouring country, to the European Capital of Culture 2015 Pilsen, the spa triangle Karlsbad- Mariebad- Franzensbad or the golden city of Prague.
Day trips can be booked weekly from Vohenstrauß in summer.
Vohenstrauß is a cosy little town with a beautiful market square where a weekly market is held every week where farmers from the region sell their produce. The town's landmark is Friedrichsburg Castle, which can already be seen from the motorway.
In Vohenstrauß you will find Aldi, Norma, Netto and E-Center to stock up on groceries.
In addition to home-style cooking, you can also eat Thai and Italian food. A speciality is "Zoigl", a beer that is only served in special "Zoigl-Stuben", often with a hearty snack. There is also one of these in Vohenstrauß.
A special attraction of the town is the seat of the Oberpfälzer Landestheater (Upper Palatinate State Theatre), which offers many cultural activities in the town and the surrounding area.
The town's location in the heart of the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park makes it an excellent starting point for hiking or cycling tours through the beautiful countryside.
