Nice and friendly

Ideal place for fishermen and not only, two weeks is not enough to see all the attractions in the area. Fish are biting well even from the shore 50m from the accommodation... Silence and peace perfect for resetting the body. Extremely nice hosts. We recommend!!!

It is an old Norwegian family house where you feel like real locals, Norwegians. We were there with 6 adults and 3 children (6-11 years old) and felt comfortable in the two living rooms and the well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and almost everything you have and need at home. The bedrooms on the upper floor were also well equipped. There were even extra mattresses to vary if needed. The two bathrooms had very good showers and warm water, and if necessary. The underfloor heating was excellent. The landlord provided us with gasoline for the boats. A special highlight was the large and artistically designed garden, which was completely at our disposal and from which we also had a view of the boat dock. The house is highly recommended. Recommendations: The holiday home is located in the village of Syvde, but still somewhat secluded, so you can find peace there. Directly opposite the entrance, a steep hiking trail leads to the summit of a mountain. Here, sturdy hiking shoes are definitely recommended. You can drive by car to the surrounding valleys and hike up into the mountains from there. The house is also very well suited for fishing in the fjord, as you can reach the boat dock by car in 2 minutes and on foot in 10 minutes. Excursions to Aleund or to special beaches (e.g., Hoddevik) are also manageable.
