Although check-in was possible from 3 PM according to the booking, we could only enter the house at 6 PM. The reason was apparently insufficient cleaning staff. Our groceries were partially cooked in the car during this time with nearly 30 degrees Celsius outside! ! ! We could have been informed in advance, then we could have adjusted our arrival time. Unfortunately, apart from an apology, there was not even a small concession. It was only reported that it took until 9 PM last weekend for the guests to move in - so we were lucky... Unfortunately, we could also determine based on the hygienic condition of the house that the cleaning staff is apparently completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately, it was filled with sand, a lot of dog hair, and cobwebs, the dishes in the cupboard were not clean, and the kitchen inventory was incomplete. The outdoor area was riddled with digging holes and neglected. We have a dog ourselves, but tolerance has its limits... We left earlier than planned. As a plus, it should be noted: the lake with its private beach is really very nice and truly recommended for dogs.

We could not start our vacation because the booked beach house was overbooked. This was only discovered on-site in Sassenburg. We were basically left out in the rain. No replacement was arranged. On the contrary, the reception we reported to simply closed. The worst travel provider I have encountered so far. Refund us our booking price of €277 plus incurred costs of about €100 (fuel money). I had also sent them a separate email.
