Absolutely clean and pleasantly quiet holiday apartment with a covered terrace and a small garden. Functional equipment with everything you need. Two loungers for the garden or more comfortable garden chairs would be nice..., to optimize relaxation even more. Very friendly landlords! Ideal location for bike tours to the many lakes in the area.

Lovingly furnished holiday home in a beautiful garden. The landlords are always available for questions. We were particularly taken with the beds, as these are a problem in many accommodations. The conservatory was of course the hit. With sunshine and lush plants all around, pure relaxation. We will gladly come again.

The town of Plön is dominated by the imposing Plön Castle. The Renaissance building was the residence of Duke Friedrich Karl of Schleswig-Holstein until his death in 1761. The castle is set in a magnificent park, inviting visitors to stroll around. The complex includes the Old Apple Garden, the former ducal kitchen garden, the castle garden, and the Planet Path. In the picturesque old town with the Nikolaikirche, there are numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. Lake Plön itself is naturally the biggest attraction of the region. On the lake, you can sail and windsurf, stand-up paddle, canoe, and row, and much more. Around the lake, there are swimming spots to dive into the cool water. A smaller castle, or former manor house, is located in Ascheberg. In the municipality of Grebin, a visit to the Grebin Windmill is worthwhile. It dates back to 1851 and was operational until 1947, although by then powered by electricity. In the warmer months, a cafe opens in the windmill. The area around the lake is also excellent for a vacation with dogs in Holstein Switzerland. On 27 designated hiking and cycling trails, your four-legged family members can run and frolic freely, away from roads and cities. The hiking tours can be wonderfully combined with visits to numerous attractions. At the Great Plön Lake, there are also designated beaches where dogs are allowed.

Lake Plön is located in the Holstein Switzerland National Park in Schleswig-Holstein. The towns of Plön, Dersau, Bosau, Ascheberg, Sepel, and Godau are situated along its shores. Traveling to your vacation apartment or private holiday home at Lake Plön is convenient and quick by train. From the major railway stations in Lübeck and Kiel, the stations in Plön and Ascheberg can be reached every half hour. By car, you can reach your accommodation at Lake Plön via the A1, A7, and A21 highways. From the A1, take the Eutin exit. Coming from the south on the A7, take the Großenaspe exit and follow the signs towards Plön. From the north, take the A210 and A215 towards Kiel from the Rendsburg interchange. On the Kiel Westring, drive onto the B76 towards Plön and Eutin.
