The holiday home pleased us very much, the view is a dream. The property is very large and is very close to the water. It is well equipped and you have absolute peace there. However, the few walkers can look directly onto the terrace and into the living room. The house was not well cleaned, however. The water is too shallow for swimming, ideal for children and dogs, but to swim you have to drive to the beach. It is wonderful for small and large walks. Recommendations: A visit to the restaurant Jaegershuset in Als Odde is highly recommended. Also feasible with children or dogs.

Recommendations: Snack bar in the harbor is great, the restaurant next door is ridiculously expensive, get rolls at the supermarket either frozen or self-service, don’t look for a bakery, it doesn’t exist. Also skip the fish rolls, they don’t exist. Go-kart track in the next village is good and both owners are super nice, Ahus and Aalborg are worth visiting for city trips, everything else is just villages. You don’t need cash at all. The big ice cream parlor on the main street is great, you get at least 2 scoops but they were more than enough for all of us with 6. Restaurants on the main street are at most average. Weather very very very changeable so take everything with you. Thunderstorms at night with everything that comes with it, coffee on the terrace at 6 in the morning with sunshine, half an hour later jacket and dark clouds still with coffee on the terrace. Shopping at the only supermarket on site is sufficient, prices are almost like in Germany.

Large and quiet property in a cul-de-sac, which means hardly anyone strolls by with curious looks. It is well divided and can also be enclosed with small gates for toddlers. The terrace is usable in any weather due to a front of windows and the roof, and another piece of terrace as well as the entire lawn invite sunbathing. The house itself is cozy and very well equipped. Cooking and baking is no problem - there is enough dishware even for larger groups. Refrigerator-freezer combo, coffee machine, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and much more are available. The house has three separate bedrooms, the bathroom is equipped with a shower. In Oster Hurup, there are always great events in the summer, and there is also much to discover in the surrounding area. Larger attractions are also easily accessible by car in all directions. We join the previous speakers: the waffle house is a must. We can only recommend this house for a quiet vacation, perfect for unwinding, and we will definitely book this house again. Thank you to the hosts. Recommendations: We naturally recommend the waffle house located in the village, and the tropical zoo in Randers is also worth a visit. Those who have no problem with further trips will surely find the meeting of the East and North Seas in Skagen interesting, and Frederikshavn with its Bunker Museum and palm beach is absolutely worth seeing. For supplies, there is a Brugsen supermarket in the town itself, and a few minutes' drive away, there are Rema, Lidl, and Netto.
