Staying in this lodge was everything I hoped for. The cozy decor made it feel like home right away, especially with all the natural light streaming in from the large windows. I enjoyed having coffee on the terrace every morning while taking in the view of the hills.

The house was good, the location absolutely not suitable for wheelchair users. Belvilla would contact Landal Gulpen, but Gulpen says that no one has called from Belvilla. I contacted Landal Gulpen myself, I clearly asked the question, are the narrow paths to the houses wheelchair accessible, and I did not receive a clear answer to that. Still decided to go to Gulpen. And there was no consideration at all for wheelchair users. Unless you rented a modified cottage. No one informed us and gave us a choice to go or not. It was a drama. Even when we spoke to management about a solution, we received an angry response from management. I could demonstrate that I had called Landal Gulpen. and they claimed high and low that it could not be seen in their system. I could prove that I had indeed called, and then she backed down a bit. All of this could have been prevented by both Belvilla and Landal Gulpen. This experience was very disappointing.
