Typical cozy house in a quiet location with a beautiful garden, completely fenced, and hardly visible. Nice new kitchen with everything you need. Good beds, modern shower room. Pellet stove that quickly warms the whole house comfortably. In the pre- and post-season, when the evenings get cooler, warm slippers are recommended. The ground floor is completely tiled, making it simply warmer. A car is absolutely necessary. In the area, there are good shopping opportunities and very interesting excursion destinations, cities, the Alabaster Coast, and also wonderful forest areas for hiking. Very friendly, discreet, and helpful hosts who do everything to ensure the guests are satisfied. Knowledge of French, as everywhere in France, is an advantage. Tip: take some of the fine honey, Pierre is also a beekeeper! We and our dog felt very comfortable, heartfelt thanks to Sylvie and Pierre!

The location of the cottage is excellent. Peace and space, but still many nice places nearby, and you can easily reach the beach by car. However, the cottage itself could use some loving maintenance. Upon entering, we were welcomed by various hay carts with their dusty webs and a musty smell. The cleaning also left much to be desired, but we have dealt with that before, so we quickly put excess clutter in the cupboard, vacuumed the cottage, and wiped down smooth surfaces with a damp cloth. The amount of rugs and the old carpeting still make it an unattractive house for people with allergies. For us, the location deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately, the cottage only gets 2 stars.
