Holiday apartments and houses in Aram

The house completely matched the description and the pictures. It is located in a very quiet area, with a terrace offering a beautiful view of the fjord. Everything needed for a vacation was available in the house. Furthermore, there was even a gas grill, which we did not use due to the weather. All German-language TV channels were available (reception depending on the weather, as it is satellite). / An extra canister was included for the rented boat. The boat was about 5-10 minutes from the house in a small harbor in Aram. / The hosts were expecting us at the agreed time at the house, were very nice, and showed us everything and explained it. The boat was clean and well-maintained. The engine never let us down. / The house is conveniently located for excursions to the nearby and further surroundings (Alesund, Briksdalsbree, Geiranger, Bird Island Runde). Since ferries must also be used for this, always plan 1 day for the excursions. / The settlement of costs with the landlord (electricity and boat) was uncomplicated. / Overall, it was a beautiful, relaxing vacation. / We can definitely recommend the house.

Very well-equipped house, everything you need was available and in good condition. There are 5 houses in a row located by the shore, behind them 2 smaller ones. All have a good distance from each other. Very advantageous was the supermarket with a gas station (gasoline for boat engines) directly above on the little-trafficked road. The rented boat was in very good condition and the engine was always reliable. The washing machine had a defect but was promptly replaced by the very friendly landlord. The location right by the small harbor, for 4-5 boats, was ideal for us; the view of the fjord with the offshore islands and the West Cape, in all weather conditions, is beautiful. Recommended are the visit to the West Cape, the new, still not quite finished staircase Hakalletrappa (beautiful view, after conquering up to then 760 steps), the bird island Runde, Alesund, the hiking trails into the adjacent mountain world, and and and... Comfortable stay overall, everything was fine, The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, Just wished there were more dining options nearby, But hey, we had a barbecue evening!
