Very nice vacation apartment, perfect for excursions, nice landlords

We spent a wonderful vacation here. The landlords are friendly and helpful and provided us with very good advice/information about hikes, bike routes, and sights. Knowing which paths we can use after the tornado was also very helpful. We were able to park the e-bikes under a shower on the property the whole time and also charge them there. The vacation apartment was newly furnished and equipped with a flat-screen TV, wooden furniture, kettle, electric stove, coffee machine, and toaster, etc. Only the oven was not available, very unfortunate. There was no microwave. We unfortunately have to deduct a point for the cleanliness of the kitchen. Here, the pots, pans, bowls, and partly the cooking utensils were unclean. We first washed the dishes that we used. There was no dishwasher, unfortunately. That would have solved the problem. Sharp knives were also missing to cut/peel bread or vegetables. There was also a cat on the property that sometimes came by to cuddle. On cool evenings, the heating was turned on for us, which we found very pleasant. There were seating options in front of the vacation apartment. We would like to thank you for the pleasant 2 weeks and we gladly recommend the vacation apartment further. Our assessment is only meant to provide suggestions and is not meant as criticism.

Absolutely recommended!

We felt absolutely comfortable in the very well equipped holiday home. Located directly in the quiet town center, surrounded by friendly neighbors, we found an ideal starting point for beautiful hiking routes and excursions! Also worth mentioning is the prompt, friendly and accommodating communication with Mrs. Marschall. We will definitely come back!

Top accommodation

A beautiful bungalow in a lovely setting, practically right at the edge of the forest. The amenities are above expectations, everything you need is there, except for a small drying rack, which would have been nice for wet items, etc. (Rain also occurs in the Thuringian Forest), but that's "complaining at a high level." Very good communication with the host, you get all the information on the spot and the host is always reachable/available if there are any questions (which was not necessary for us). The accommodation is also very good in terms of price.
