The house and the location are top-notch. Located in a quiet little place. It is small and cozy. Helpful and friendly neighbors. I do not recommend it for small children, as the sofa bed for the kids is right by the stairs. We always pushed something in front of it. For us, it is a house that we would gladly return to. Amenities for daily needs are also more than sufficient. Recommendations: Gerå has a small, sweet beach section with many sandbanks and lots of waterfowl. Asaa has a small sweet beach where we spent a few lovely days. For dog owners, there is a leash requirement in Denmark! However, there are so-called Hundeskov, small fenced forest sections where dogs are allowed to run free. There is one directly between Gerå and Asaa. In Asaa, there is a Spar and a gas station as well as a super delicious kebab shop called Pizza Kebab House. Everything is freshly prepared when ordering, especially the pizza dough and the homemade kebab pockets. There is an ATM in the town of Dronninglund in the shopping center Meny. To find peace, this is exactly the right area. In Gerå, you can see many small cabinets where you can buy potatoes, honey, wood, and similar items.

We loved our stay here! The cabin is beautifully decorated and really felt like a home away from home. The kids enjoyed the nearby Bolcheriet for sweets, and we appreciated the pet-friendly policy.
