4* OYO, you're truly On Your Own, There's typically just one person at the front desk, They do daily housekeeping to keep your room clean and tidy, plus fresh towels, which is nice, There's also a DND sign if you need some privacy, They've refurbished the downstairs area, so the rooms have a bit of a mismatch right now, But honestly, you're just here to sleep, The bed is comfy and spotless, You get a safe, an ironing board, and an iron in the room, There's no small kitchenette for hot drinks, but you're in MY, where coffee shops are everywhere, Our view was just of a wall,

This has been my home away from home, I have found it very clean, very quiet with friendly staff, My dog is staying with me and we are having absolutely NO problems, even with the other dogs in the hotel, It has beautiful grounds, I feel very safe walking my dog early in the morning and late at night, I have found it to be clean, pleasant, well maintained and am very comfortable, In fact, as a result of this visit, I will seek out Extended Stay America next time I am on assignment!

This place appears to be a long-term residence for people who are struggling financially. No disrespect to them at all; it was sad to see children dropped by school buses coming "home" to a hotel. Other residents get their mail delivered there. There is a designated parking space for the police, which was our first red flag, and signs to lock car doors. There were people drinking beer out the back of their truck in the parking lot, bags of trash piled in the corners of hallways, loud music, loud voices, and the smell of marijuana. The clerk at the front desk said our room was not available but a "double double" was available. When we tried our key cards on that room, a man inside opened the door and said it was his room. When we went back to the front desk there was a long line of people seeking assistance there so at that point we contacted VRBO for a cancellation and a refund.
