Beautiful house with plenty of space for large families
The ground floor offers a lot of space for small children to walk, play, and romp, as does the grassy area in the garden. We enjoyed using the covered terrace, which is easily accessible from the living room and bedroom and is relatively protected from the wind. The kitchen provides ample space for several people to cook and prepare meals without stepping on each other's toes. Unfortunately, a kitchen machine is missing - at least a hand mixer I would have expected. Otherwise, the equipment is very good. All sleeping and bathrooms are spacious and barrier-free. The seating area in the living room accommodates about 5 people; all others must make do with chairs. The dining table is barely sufficient for 8 people. The stairs and the gate on the 1st floor are not childproof - this should be known and noted - but it was not a problem for us. The child safety gate (provided by the landlord) can be mounted in a door frame, but not at the stairs. The children's bed and high chair were great. The quiet location, combined with the proximity to the city center of Burg and its good infrastructure, pleased us very much. There is room for improvement with the (separately ordered) laundry package: Most of the bed covers (5 out of 7) were very crumpled and did not fit properly on the provided duvets (you have to make the beds yourself). Additionally, a towel for the 4th toilet was missing - we then took one of our beach towels. Conclusion: Recommended house - we enjoyed our stay there very much and would come back again.
