Got in after midnight, room was ready and quiet which helped settle down quickly after traveling all day through Phoenix traffic areas nearby Broadway street hotels I've known didn't always manage this as smoothly.

I was quite surprised that upon check-in I discovered that the towels were spotted and dirty; maybe they just reused them, folded them, and placed them on the rack, very dirty. I walked around in my socks, and by the time I observed the towels, I looked at my socks, and they were black on the bottoms, as well as considerable lint and dirt visible throughout the room. I decided to stay. It was getting late with no other options. And when I retired to bed, the sheets were in the same condition as the towels, spotted and blotched with stains and dirt smudges. I did not get in between the sheets; I slept on top of the bedspread. The most alarming was when I lay down, and the mattress was and is very uncomfortable due to the massive dent on one side that pulled me to the low side all night long; I was fighting all night to stay out of the hole caused by the old, lumpy mattress. The fixtures are all loose and need tightening in the shower and the bathroom. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty with various food scraps from whoever stayed before me. I tried to get the front desk to address the cleaning, but to no avail. All in all, I'm glad my wife was not with me because I would have been embarrassed to have her see or stay in this nightmare. Please, I don't mean to be rude, but these were the worst condition I've ever seen at a hotel. I make better accommodations when we go camping in the wilderness. A good idea might be to address these issues with your Motel 6 management team and ensure they can understand English and proper cleaning protocols. Rest assured, I will not use your VRBO services ever again. James Robinson

During a work trip lasting two nights, the room was roomy enough for our small group. The outdoor pool provided a nice way to relax after busy days. Parking was easy and check-in was quick, making everything smooth.
