Sir, we had booked with Holidu, where it clearly stated apartments with a dog, so to Texel where I was looking forward to a short vacation, because I have lung cancer and was looking forward to it. At a certain point, we received a message about payment to Roompot and a payment to BelVilla. Everything was based on the assumption that my first booking with the dog at Holidu was valid. In short, we were at the check-in for the apartment, but were not allowed in because the apartments where dogs are allowed were full. You understand the great disappointment, and we had to return home. Stay: 1W2F77HP. W. Sietses. We have paid Roompot 103.60 and Belvilla 498.80. The apartment was decent for our needs. It was clean and had all the essentials, like a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator, which was convenient for preparing some meals. The location was quite nice, with the beach nearby and a peaceful atmosphere. Nothing too extravagant, but it met our expectations for a comfortable stay. Overall, a good choice for a getaway to Texel.

The booking is through Belvilla, but is actually with Landal. You can tell from everything that there is no coordination regarding the booking. The cottage is dated and not clean. Messy with spider webs everywhere. Not vacuumed under the beds. Pans where the Teflon coating is coming off. In the en-suite bathroom, you have to shower in the bathtub, fine, but there is no way to hang the showerhead while showering. In the other small bathroom, the ventilation did not work. There is 1 toilet in the house for 6 people. There is minimal light; we swapped the kitchen lamp with the one from the toilet. The doormat does not fit under the door and is temporarily placed next to the door. In short, not worth repeating.
