This 140 m² villa with swimming pool (open Jun-Oct) and 330 m² of terraces/verandas is placed on a 2130 m² plot bordering a shallow lake next to the Glyfada Beach. Distance from villa to lake is 50 m and further 80 m across the lake to the beach. This is a detached house registered by the National Tourist Organisation under license MHTE 1174K91001036801 and e-Platform 60518. The villa is fully air-conditioned and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one of which has a whirlpool bathtub. Furthermore there are 2 living rooms; one with a fireplace and access to the main terrace surrounding the villa and one to the veranda, both have a panoramic 270º view. In addition, there is a roof terrace with magnificent 360º views. The fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances includes an American refrigerator/freezer with an ice cube machine so you can enjoy a long-drink in the evening on the terrace watching the sunset. Terraces has ample outside sitting places with 3 pergolas and both charcoal and gas barbecue are available. The kitchen also has an outdoor dining table built with marble and placed in between cozy natural marble walls.

The villa is located by Glyfada Beach, about 17 km from Naxos town and 15 km to the airport. Grocery shop is about 150 meter from the villa and there are 4 restaurants in walking distance (under 1 km). The villa is in a group of 3 finished houses, where this villa is the one in front with 180 degrees uninterrupted West view. There are totally 11 houses in the area, of which 1 is not sold and thus not finished. During the last 15 years, it happend twice that there was some building noise in May/Jun or Sep/Oct (never in Jul/Aug). Now the risk is minimal, as only 1 house remains. In this area there are mostly open landscape and beaches, yet not any large hotels. Several local cafes and restaurants make it a quiet vacation place for families. Villa Bella is situated on the beach of a shallow (0-30 cm deep) lake which has warmer water than normal sea water. In the high season parts of the lake are dry so you can walk across to the main Glyfada Beach with dry feet. In the remaining part of the year you can easily cross the lake (80 m) by wading or walk around (400 m). Glyfada Beach is famous for windsurfing and especially kite surfing due to perfect wind and sufficient distance to the airport.
Naxos is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece and offers a mix of easily accessible superior sand beaches, a landscape of lush valleys, picturesque villages, churches, towers and monuments. It is a very fertile island, and has supported itself independently throughout history by agriculture. The island is not dependent on tourism and retains its essential character.
Naxos is an island known for the warm northern afternoon wind called Meltemi that makes the island a surfers paradise.

We had a dreamy time.
House: the rooms were well equipped and the mattresses firm. In the kitchen, everything for cooking was there. We were 7 people and could eat great on the terrace. Very beautiful sunsets. Very nice neighbor. Sweet visiting cats.
Location: you need a car! But the drives were really acceptable. Naxos is not big. Super mini-market reachable in 2 minutes on foot. Very good restaurants within walking distance. The beach is empty and you can enjoy the peace. The way over the dried-up salt lake is very short.
Excursions: to Chora just 20 minutes by car. To Haweii Beach in the east (the most beautiful beach in Naxos) about 1.5 hours. To Aliko (a lost place, which is now very well visited, but you still have to go there!) you drive by car in less than 10 minutes. To Ag Prokopios, you drive through the villages for about 20 minutes.
Service: the key handover and the contact were relaxed, flexible, and totally uncomplicated. When the sink suddenly leaked, a very nice gentleman came twice and by evening it was repaired. Wow! Our landlord was very transparent and available to us at any time. We had no fear of a fake booking! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everything was perfect!
Conclusion: highly recommended! We can only recommend this house for a perfect vacation. We would definitely come back. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL TIME!

The house was built as our family home in 2006, but gradually extended with more terraces and swimming pool in 2009-2012. We would like to share this beach-front property with others, as we are not able to use it more than 4 weeks a year ourselves.
