The detached holiday home, in the "North Sea Park" Zeepolder ll, in De Haan offers space for 5 people. In 3 bedrooms there is space for 5 fixed beds and a child's travel bed. In addition, there is a bathroom with shower and The house is open with gallery.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee maker, toaster, fridge/freezer as well as a beautiful living room with HD-SAT and a cosy round corner. There is a second TV in the single room.
A fenced garden completes the picture. A second refrigerator and a washing machine are also available.

De Haan is the most romantic seaside resort on the Belgian coast. The village is characterised by white villas in the Belle Epoche style. Off to the side is a promenade with cafés and restaurants.
The sandy beach invites you to linger and stroll.
With the "Kusttram" you can easily travel along the coast and explore places like Ostend, Middelkerke, Blankenberge or Knokke.

Fortunately, the weather was nice.
The house has aged significantly and could use an update. The kitchen cabinets are very basic and already quite worn. The dishes are mostly chipped and also very limited. There are no lids for most pots. For tall people, the bedrooms and extra toilet are very cramped. Regarding cleanliness, I can agree with the previous review. You could see that it was cleaned, but not thoroughly. (Dust threads on the beams, worktop dirty) The mattresses in the large bed were very thin. The garden and the view of the horse meadow were very nice. The furnishings could not have been changed even with an immediate phone call.

Vacation Home De Haan
The house itself is great, located in a holiday area, parking nearby, beach 20 minutes on foot, center 15 minutes, we had to clean a bit before we could settle in (dirty dishes, greasy stove, cobwebs and dust in the corners, used clothing from the previous guests under the bed) you shouldn't be too picky? Equipment good (but we had our own things with us)
Shower leaking, coffee machine leaks (definitely take plenty of towels)
We couldn't sit outside on the first days (smell and noise but due to temperature and high season)
Action was taken immediately in case of defects?
Dog friendly? ? ?
Not recommended for people in wheelchairs otherwise good?

Im Mietvertrag steht, das eventuelle Beschwerden direkt am Anreisetag zu tätigen sind.
Die angesprochenen Mängel werden dann umgehend beseitigt.
Davon hat die Liebe Dame leider keinen Gebrauch gemacht.

Cosy fisherman's house
For our first holiday with baby, the house was perfect. Quiet location, beautiful garden with view of horses, centre and beach within walking distance. The house also has everything you need. Mr Born is very accommodating, flexible and he can be reached quickly. We had a very good experience all round.

Holiday at holiday home E. Born in De Haan
My wife and I had a lovely and relaxing holiday with our dog in Mr Born's holiday home. Mr Born was very friendly and gave us some tips along the way. The location of the holiday home on the edge of the holiday location was very nice. Also the house with its equipment
and the fenced property was equipped with everything you need for a holiday.
We were very satisfied and also found De Haan with its promenade and beach very nice.
