Description
We took over the house, which has a very old core, in 2015 and completely renovated it. It now features modern amenities with all comforts, such as a rain shower and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Another toilet was also installed on the first floor. The two bedrooms on the first floor are very spacious. One of them has a niche with an additional sofa bed. From this room, a narrow wooden staircase leads to the attic, which offers 2 additional (emergency) sleeping places (a 1.20 m wide bed and a 0.7 m wide simple mattress).
The living, fireplace, and dining area is spacious, the living room sunny. The television currently only has internet access, but via Zattoo there is a large selection of films. The house has a sauna for 4 people in an outbuilding in the courtyard (+ flat rate €90/week if used, for stays under 6 days €15/day). The courtyard is hardly visible, self-contained and sheltered from the wind. It is equipped with garden furniture for 6 people: a covered terrace invites you to relax after the sauna. Here, small children can also play safely and bicycles, etc. can be stored. There is a safety gate for the steep stairs, which can optionally be used on the upper floor.
Final cleaning, as well as a one-time supply of bed linen / 2 towels per person included.

Location and surroundings of object
The house Limosa is located in Friedrichsstadt in a side street to the shopping area and close to the central marketplace. Bakers, butchers,ice cream parlor, fish restaurants, doner kebab, various other restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. Shops at Edeka, Lidl, Aldi are available nearby.
The dream beach of Sankt Peter Ording on the North Sea is within 30 minutes by car, the North Sea is only 10 minutes away by car. If you want to take a quick bath in the morning, you may take a bath in the very clean Treene.
The beautiful city of Husum can be reached by car in 15 minutes or by train in 7 minutes from Friedrichstadt station. The station in Friedrichstadt also offers a direct train connection to Westerland on Sylt, a very nice day trip!

Cancellation terms:
Cancellation fees: Up to 45 days before the start date, 20%, but at least €25; up to 35 days before, 50%; thereafter, 80%; from the start date, 100%. If the entire period can be re-rented, a processing fee of €35 will generally be incurred, regardless of the period. For the Corona period: If the stay is not possible due to a mandated entry ban, the deposit will be fully refunded, regardless of the cancellation date.

In summer, Friedrichstadt offers wonderful opportunities for outdoor activities. The cycle paths along the Eider, Treene and Sorge (detailed cycle maps and route descriptions available), stand-up paddling, canoeing and kayaking, swimming in the Treene and North Sea, walks, hikes in the surrounding moors etc. leave little to be desired.
There are canal trips, excursions with steamers or you can take the train for a day trip to Sylt. The train station is only a 10-minute walk away.
The house has a 4-person canoe and a small jetty (about 200 m from the house).

Beautiful townhouse with good facilities
We felt very comfortable in this beautiful house. Nothing was missing. The kitchen is new and very modern.
The shower room on the ground floor also met our taste
All in all, we had a lovely holiday with good relaxation.

Great holiday home
The holiday home Limosa has everything a family could wish for. It is only a 5-minute walk to the marketplace and also not far to go to the canal boats. I can only recommend it, it is a beautiful house.
