The Apartment is located in Mgarr, a typical small, rural village situated in a beautiful region. Mgarr is the main farming village in Malta. It offers a traditional village centre with genuine local eateries, vast countryside with some spectacular views and also some of the best coastline on the island. A small place in the West of Malta with 2.800 residents. Mgarr has also two important prehistoric sites: "Ta Hagrat" and "Ta Skorba" where both are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
These 3 sandy bays are Gnejna Bay, one of the most picturesque bays of Malta and popular by the Maltese. A footway along the coast to Ghajn Tuffieha Bay. The Golden Bay is the most popular sandy beach for the tourists. All beaches can be reached by bus in summer. Distances: Next tourist village Bugibba 6km, capital city Valletta approx 16km (direct bus-line), Mdina, the old capital city 7km. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and bus stop are a short stroll away.
