Description
Maison Tavel is part of Ferme-Manoir that has been lovingly restored. The appearance of the old stone house was obtained, but inside it is bright, friendly and comfortable. The small conservatory invites you in the morning sun for breakfast. In the guest garden wait Teakliegen and -Tischchen. is located to the west of the great Mediterranean courtyard, which is dominated by the mansion. Three houses form a U-shape that is open to the south, so there very well flourish in the courtyard a microclimate where olive trees, palms and cypresses. The guest house with garden has a separate entrance.

Location and surroundings of object
The location is ideal as a starting point for excursions to the different coastal sections:
in 15 minutes to reach by car the beaches of Brehec and the Plage Bonaparte, both well suited for swimming, as well as the start of the walks on the coastal path, a path that leads directly to the coastline. In 20 minutes you are in the St. lively resorts Quay-Portrieux and Binic. About 30 minutes is the north coast with the beautiful beaches of Port Blanc. In 40 minutes you can reach the seaside resort of Perros-Guirec with the Pink Granite Coast.
The beautiful port town of Paimpol also be reached in 15 minutes to Ile de Brehat (ferry), it is then just one more jump. The lying near medieval towns Pontrieux, Treguie, Guingamp or Lannion offer a journey through the history.
Who takes swimming and hiking prefer to play golf, among three golf courses around can choose
Chateau Boisgelin a picturesque golf course located seven minutes from here.
Sexy gardens in castles and manors are nearby and are a paradise not only for garden lovers.

Over the moon
Everything is just right here: super-beautiful, tastefully and lovingly furnished house in which nothing is missing. Wonderful, bright living room with very high ceiling and extensive Suhrkamp library. Well-equipped kitchen. Inner courtyard, beautifully planted with hydrangeas, agapanthus and countless other plants that one would like to have in one's own garden in Germany, if only they were hardy. In the middle of the garden is a very beautiful palm tree. The house also has its own rather large furnished garden and a conservatory. Bedrooms and bathrooms nice and pleasant, beds very good. Quite quiet location with very short (10-30 min) distances to beautiful beaches, markets, gardens, small towns.... A visit to the nearby Ile de Bréhat is highly recommended, as are the excursion destinations and restaurants recommended by the hosts. For those interested in literature, we recommend an overnight stay in Illiers-Combray (e.g. in the hotel Les Aubépines) where the museum/house of Aunt Léonie is located, where Marcel Proust spent parts of his childhood and had his famous "Madeleine" experience, which is described in the first part of his "Recherche" - "Search for Lost Time" under the title "Combray". What luck then to find the complete edition of "Recherche" in the holiday flat!
We would like to thank our hosts once again for their very friendly service and the many useful tips. It was very, very nice to stay with you, we would love to come again.

Pure relaxation
14 days in Maison Tavel were pure relaxation. From the first day on, we felt very comfortable. Not only did the tasteful furnishings contribute to this. It was very clean and well maintained. In our own part of the garden, we could relax undisturbed.
Mrs. Göllner and her husband welcomed us warmly and gave us valuable suggestions for our activities.
We will definitely come back, as we still want to see a lot in Brittany.

We were with 4 adults for 2 weeks at Maison Tavel and enjoyed the time despite relatively adverse weather. The house is absolutely quiet and very tastefully furnished. We were warmly welcomed by the landlords and provided with many tips for activities. We would like to thank them once again for their extremely great hospitality. We can wholeheartedly recommend the house.

The best
This holiday flat was the best we have ever had. With a sense of beautiful form and good function, every detail of the flat was quality furnished and we immediately felt at home. Everything we needed was available. The promising pictures on the homepage were redeemed in every way by the reality. Our hosts provided us with lots of insider tips on botanical gardens, beautiful beaches, walks and weekly markets, so that we will not forget our Bretagen holiday. We had the lovely feeling of coming as guests and going home as friends; a 5 star holiday.

Wonderful vacation!
For us, the 14-day stay at Maison Tavel was pure relaxation. Starting with the warm welcome from the landlords and the nice conversations with them, the beautiful accommodation with the conservatory, the stately library, the Mediterranean courtyard (a delight for plant lovers), and above all the heavenly peace. We enjoyed all of that very much. The property is far away from any hustle and bustle and yet a good base for various activities. Extensive coastal hikes along the Granit Rose, the Plage de Brehec to the Plage du Palus, strolls through botanical gardens, admiring the flair of Breton architecture were among our activities and made the vacation an unforgettable experience. This property has been added to our top list!

Schönstes Ferienhaus überhaupt!
Wir haben im Urlaub noch nie schöner gewohnt. Das alte bretonische Steinhaus wurde von den Eigentümern mit Sachkenntnis und Stilempfinden renoviert sowie liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. Allein das mehr als fünf Meter hohe Wohnzimmer ist beeindruckend! Dazu der wunderschön gestaltete Garten und der Wintergarten, der zum Frühstück in der Morgensonne einlädt. Von den netten Vermietern erhielten wir viele Tipps für Unternehmungen. Gommenec'h ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung: an die wild-romantische Küste, in kleine alte Städtchen und - wichtig für Gartenbegeisterte - zu wunderbaren Gärten. Dank des "Zöllnerpfades", der sich die gesamte Küste entlangzieht, kommen auch Wanderer auf ihre Kosten.
Für uns sicher nicht der letzte Urlaub in der Maison Tavel!

Traumurlaub
Wir sind von den Vermietern herzlich aufgenommen worden und haben wunderbare Tipps bezüglich der Sehenswürdigkeiten und besonderen Orten bekommen. Das Ferienhaus war sehr schön und gemütlich. Frühstück im Wintergarten und eine tolle Bibliothek. Die Landschaft war herrlich bretonisch mit schönen kleinen Städten und einer abwechslungsreichen Küste mit langen Sandstränden und felsigen Abschnitten auf denen man sich wunderbar Sonnen konnte. Wir kommen wieder !

Das war ein phantastischer Urlaub!
Das Ferienhaus mit eigenem Zugang liegt separat auf dem großzügigen, liebevoll von dem gärtnerisch ambitionierten Eigentümern gestalteten Grundstück eines Manoirs. Das Frühstück haben wir im Wintergarten in der Morgensonne genossen, die Abende in der differenzierten eigenen Bibliothek am Kaminfeuer. Die gut ausgestattete Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen, manche bretonische Spezialität entdecken zu können.
