Holiday home on the French Atlantic coast, approx. 80 km north of Bordeaux in Vendays-Montalivet. The house is ideal for 5 people and is also exceptionally well equipped by German standards. An always green garden thanks to automatic irrigation, an almost endless sandy beach 1000 m away, wonderful waves – ideal for surfers, bodyboarders, and kite surfers.

The house is located about 1000m from the sandy beach (bicycles are provided free of charge), accessible via a foot and bike path through the pine forest, and about 600m from the market in the town center. Opposite are football, tennis, and paddle courts (can be booked free of charge!) as well as the gymnasium, where an extensive and likewise free sports program is offered during the season.
Montalivet is an old seaside resort with many small holiday homes in the village center and towards the beach. Many new single-family houses have been built around it. There is an overall very relaxed atmosphere. We love the magnificent sunsets!
The place is not as crowded as many Atlantic beaches south of Bordeaux. The daily market, which takes place during the season, is very much worth experiencing. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can find (almost) everything here: from oysters to wine—the well-known Rouge—to clothes and antiques.

Dream holiday in a dream house !
We are certainly very fond of travelling and have already seen a lot. But this house is simply top. Not only does it have everything you need for an unrestricted holiday, but it also offers much more. Those who spend their holidays here come home completely relaxed, although the holiday home is almost a home. The landlords are also simply good.
recommend for: seniors, holiday with children, holiday without car, beach holiday
