Above the fog line
We stayed from 26.10. - 2.11.2019 in this beautiful, quaintly furnished chalet. We could leave the car at Lac des Joncs, the way to the chalet takes about 10 minutes and is very easy to walk. On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly manner by our landlords, Mr and Mrs Blumer, and after the briefing we were already delighted. The house was spotlessly clean, we found everything we needed for the time in the chalet, - from spices, oil to coffee incl. coffee filter, from dishwasher tabs to detergent for the existing machines, a large treasure of hiking maps, reading, wood for the cosy fireplace stove, - everything was simply thought of! The chalet can be booked for up to 6 people, it has 3 double bedrooms, a kitchen with a large dining table, a living room with two armchairs and a sofa and a large table as well as a modern bathroom in the basement
From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the foothills of the Alps, a large part is glazed, you can enjoy this view in any weather. Directly in front of the house, a hiking trail leads to the "local mountain Corbetta" from where you have a beautiful view of the Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) as well as the more southern Alpine ranges. Unfortunately, during our stay, the mountain beizlis La Saletta and Buvette le Vuipay at the foot of the Teysachaux, which you can even reach by car, were already closed, - you can make very impressive hikes from there, experienced hikers over the peaks and for the not so experienced there are well signposted hiking trails along the mountain slopes
The week was pure relaxation for us, after the warm farewell from the Blumer couple we are already looking forward to the already booked summer holiday in August 2020.

Quiet, pure nature, cosy, ideal for families or individuals
Dear Mrs. and Mr. Blumer
We can look back on an unforgettable week in your holiday home. We started our "voyage of discovery" through French-speaking Switzerland on 20 Sept. 2014 with a one-week stay at the "Romantica" to escape from everyday life and the hustle and bustle and to get in touch with tranquillity, nature and ourselves
After our daily hikes, which took us to the Sentier Gourmand, up the Col de Soladier or over the Col de Lys to Montbovon, among others, we joyfully returned to "our" home every evening, where we were eagerly awaited by the alpine cows, the three donkeys and the goat. :-)
A bath in the "outdoor tub" and the fantastic sunsets over Lac Leman rounded off each day.

Das Chalet liegt alleine in den Almweiden. Keine Auto. Ideal für Kinder, man kann sie frei spielen lassen. Das Grundstück ist flach und ohne Gefahren.
Herrliche Ausblicke auf Berge und Wälder.
free time activities: Sehr interessante Gegend. Alles ist sehr schnell zu erreichen.
Im Winter liegt das Skigebiet fast vor der Haustür, Sie gehen direkt mit den Ski an den Füssen.
Die Kinder können ohne Gefahren vor dem Chalet Iglou bauen oder schlitteln.
shopping facilities: Mit Auto oder zu Fuss können Sie alles einkaufen was sie brauchen. Im Winter kann man das Brot oder die Milch sogar mit den Ski holen.

14 wonderful days are unfortunately over.Rustic Swiss country house atmosphere combined with unique mountain panorama.Contacts with other enthusiastic hikers through the hiking trail leading directly past the house are possible if desired.Everything there,clean,beautiful and chic.

Liebe Familie, herzlichen Dank für Ihre wunderschöne Bewertung.Es ist herrlich solche Mieter wie sie zu beherbergen. So macht es richtig Freude unser Chalet zu vermieten. Wir geben uns viel Mühe, damit das Paradies immer in sehr gutem Zustand ist. Wir sind in den Zwischen-Wochen viel an Ort und machen Renovationen, pflegen den grossen Garten und bereiten das Brennholz vor, damit unsere Mieter es richtig gemütlich geniessen können.
Die Umgebung lädt zu interessanten Besichtigungen und Wanderungen ein, die Alle in kurzer Zeit zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto erreichbar sind.
In der Umgebung hat es auch gemütliche Bergbeizli mit regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Käse, Milch und noch vieles mehr kann man dort einkaufen.

Fairytale Forest Chalet is the right name
so beautifully situated, our search was worthwhile.
The view of the mountains is fabulous, whether from the balcony, the living room or the garden. Pure nature everywhere. The chalet is beautifully furnished in the Swiss style. Everything is there, we have never found another holiday home so well equipped.
The landlords are very nice and make every family's stay an unforgettable experience.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Chalet liegt fast direkt im Skigebiet ein Fussmarsch von 10 Minuten, so richtig zum Aufwärmen.
Herrlich sind auch die Schnee-Schuh-Trails, immer direkt ab Chalet
free time activities: Sommer und Winter riesiges Anbgebot, sehr kurze Anfahrten.
shopping facilities: Mit Auto in 8 Minuten hat es Migros und Coop, in 5 Minuten ein kleiner Super-Markt, wo jedoch alles vorhanden ist. Zu diesem Super-Markt ist es auch möglich mit Skis oder Schneeschuhen zu gehen.

Absolute tranquillity, unbeatable price, beautiful surroundings
we have just returned from the Blumer family chalet.
We found a very clean chalet with everything you could wish for, the surroundings and the garden are a dream. The view of the mountains is impressive.
Everything was just right. No other holiday home offers such a comprehensive service at this price.

So beautiful at unbeatable price have already booked again
it was unique the location is so romantic, even more beautiful than we had imagined, beautiful view of the mountains. A real mountain chalet, we wanted for nothing, everything was there. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The chalet is located directly in the alpine pastures, the area has countless possibilities for excursions and sightseeing. In winter it is located directly in the small family skiing area. And then the price, unbeatable, even the beds were made up. This was our most beautiful holiday, we have already booked again.

Vicinity of the holiday home: sehr,sehr ruhig direkt in den Almweiden kein einziger Nachbar die Kinder fanden es einfach ideal unglaublich grosses Grundstück mit viel Möglichkeiten zum Spielen oder einfach zum Ausruhen. Herrlicher Ausblick auf die Berge. Im Winter muss es da ideal mit Kindern sein. Ich könnte es mir da einige Zeit als Singel auch gut vorstellen. Schneeschuhlaufen im Märchenwald das wäre was !
free time activities: Es hat so viele Möglichkeiten, dass wir in 2 Wochen nie alles machen konnten. Wir kommen wieder.
shopping facilities: Mit dem Auto ist man schnell bei den Einkaufshäusern in Châtel St Denis 10 Minuten oder auch in Vevey in 20 Minuten überall gibt es alles. Ganz speziel: Sehr guten Käse aus der Region
