Description
The heart of the 69 m² holiday flat is the open and modern kitchen-living room. The 5 windows make the room very bright and friendly.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, oven, induction hob, washing machine and dishwasher. Also present are all the utensils necessary for cooking and eating
In the living area, the comfortable couch offers space to relax. The cosy day bed (1.20x2.00 m) can be used as an extra bed. An LED TV and a Blu-ray player are available for entertainment
In the modern daylight bathroom with towel warmer, bathtub and rain shower, the underfloor heating also ensures warm feet.
The large wardrobe and the chest of drawers in the bedroom offer plenty of storage space and the double bed with a lying surface of 1.80 x 2.00 m provides sufficient space for a restful sleep

Our holiday flat on the first floor, renovated in 2015-2016, is located a 10-minute walk from the Park an der Ilm in a side street on the grounds of the former "Edwin-Hörnle" nursery
You don't need to search for a parking space in the city centre, as parking spaces are available free of charge directly in front of the house. If you want to bring your bicycles, you can store them safely in the lockable garage. A bus stop (line 2) is a 4-minute walk away, as are the nearest supermarket and post office.

We provide you with WiFi, bed linen and towels as well as a baby cot and a high chair free of charge on request. Children are very welcome here with us. Playground equipment, toys and a battery of children's vehicles are available.
Although we have a dog, cats, quails and alpacas here ourselves and are very fond of animals, unfortunately it is not possible to bring dogs.

We would have liked to stay longer!
We enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Waldschlösschen in Weimar. Very friendly landlords of a well-equipped and clean apartment, beautiful location on the outskirts of Weimar. Shopping possibilities nearby and the center was also easily accessible for us seniors on foot through the wonderful Ilmpark.

: Wonderful vacation rental
Great vacation rental - very tastefully furnished. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and the landlords are very nice. In an idyllic location, but you can quickly reach the city center. When the windows are closed, you can no longer hear the passing train. If we vacation in this region again, we will definitely book this apartment again.

Schöne Ferienwohnung
We found a wonderful holiday apartment with very nice landlords. The location of the apartment is good, everything is easy to reach on foot. Points deducted for the noise from the trains, as they are running at short intervals.

Toller Urlaub
Beautiful apartment, comfortable furnished. The only disturbing thing is the train that runs directly in front of the house. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Weimar can be reached in a few minutes by car. Deduction of points due to the train noise.

We - that is my husband Frank, our daughter Helene, our son Anton and I, Christin Riechert - are pleased to welcome you as our guests. Our holiday flat, which was renovated in 2015-2016, is located on the first floor of our house. We have been living on the grounds of the former LPG "Edwin Hörnle" since 2011. Since we took over the neglected property with over 25,000 m², we have never been bored. We spent and still spend most of our free time renovating, tidying up and redesigning. Since we neither come from a rich family, nor can we fall back on a lavish lottery win, the implementation of our ideas is almost exclusively done on our own initiative after work. The advantage: you grow with your tasks. The disadvantage, however, is that there are only 24 hours in a day, so the realisation takes more time and the design is not yet complete.
