Our new, tastefully furnished holiday home is located in a well-kept holiday park. It is lovingly furnished and invites you to feel good and relax. The entire interior is modern, new and colour-coordinated. A large 40-inch flat screen TV and a 32-inch TV in the bedroom including Sky, DVD player and free high-speed internet with fibre optic connection are available
Your four-legged family member is very welcome in our house
A fixed cot is available in the bedroom
In the cold season, a wood-burning stove is available for cosy hours. The garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue for the sunny hours on the south terrace are in the garden house, where you can also store your bicycles.
The 71 m² holiday home offers space for 4 people.
All windows are equipped with insect screens.
On request, the garden can be fenced with a mobile fence of 1.00 m height, so that dogs but also small children cannot go wandering.

Location and surroundings of object
The coastal resort of Dorum-Neufeld is located between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven directly on the North Sea, the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.
The newly built heated sulphur brine outdoor pool "Watt'n Bad" with giant slide, the green beach with sunbathing lawns and beach chairs, the children's playhouse with daily free supervision, mini golf course, the Oberversand lighthouse with viewing platform, the cutter harbour, cafés, bakers and restaurants are all within a few minutes' walk. Dorum Neufeld is quiet and tranquil, and everything can be explored on foot. Only about 800m from the Mellumplate holiday home is the area around the Deichschlösschen, where you will find restaurants, bars, an ice cream parlour, souvenir shop, a small supermarket, and the best baker in Dorum.
Close by is the dog agility course. Guests of the Cuxland Ferienpark can use it free of charge, and there is even a free training session (high season), information at the park reception.

Cancellation terms:
The notice of withdrawal must be in writing. If the tenant cancels the contract or does not occupy the rental property, appropriate compensation for the lost rent must be paid. The compensation for the lost rent is as follows: - Up to 76 days before the start of the rental period, a cancellation fee of 10% of the rental price, but at least 49 €, is payable, - 75 to 46 days before the start of rental 25%, - 45 to 22 days before the start of rental 60%, - 21 to 0 days before the start of rental 100%. Overdue balance payments will be treated like a cancellation with cancellation fees.

Absolutely for feeling good
We had a wonderful week at the holiday home Mellumplate 5. The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished and incredibly clean. There is really nothing missing, and we felt very comfortable. We’ve already booked again for next year. The booking process leading up to our arrival was very easy and trouble-free. The location of the holiday home is fantastic. We would love to come back with our dogs. We have rarely felt so comfortable in a holiday home.

Bright, friendly, functional! Unfortunately, a butter dish, shoehorn, adhesive hooks in the kitchen, oven mitt, and a larger pan were missing, this is just a recommendation. Wir würden uns aber sehr freuen, wenn Sie bald mal wieder unser Gast wären. Um Ihnen den Ärger etwas zu versüßen, bekommen Sie bei einer erneuten Buchung ein Nachlass von 5%.

Not recommended for toddlers
Hello,
We were there for a week with three generations.
The weather was very good and we could make good use of the terrace.
That was the positive aspect of this week.
The arrival and processing at Cuxlandpark are not well organized; with this rush, it can take hours to get your key. Why not stagger arrivals and also allow check-ins on Fridays and Sundays?
The initial impression of the house was positive, but the view of the parking lot was not inviting. Why is there no privacy screen - e.g. with bushes - installed there?
The next shock was the children's bed. How can one build such a bed, with inviting rungs that can be used as a ladder. A plexiglass behind it would provide a remedy. The depth should also be checked, the children can fall headfirst. Unfortunately, Cuxlandpark was not reachable for help and the search for a new little bed. After a terrible first night, we were lucky and could buy one on Sunday on Ebay Classifieds. No socket protection and almost always a socket under the light switches.
The linen package is also to be evaluated negatively, no service: we had to make the beds ourselves. There was only one regular towel and one bath towel for each, so we didn't have an additional hand towel for the hands due to the separate toilet. The dishwasher takes at least two hours and ran three times this week. In a family of four, it would need to run every day because there is not enough dishes and cutlery.
Upon our departure, the cleaning staff entered before 9:00 a.m. without warning, for example by knocking. We had until 10:00 a.m.
And one more tip, to make the guest information booklet more detailed. For example, how can the bathroom heating be turned on when it is 10 degrees outside? It was way too cold for my 18-month-old granddaughter to shower.
In conclusion, the house is not recommended for young children.
