Description

The cozy detached granite house is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored. Up to 8 people can spend their vacation in this fully furnished house. Both children and adults will get their money’s worth here. Whether inside or outside, you have plenty of space. Tenants have access to - older - bicycles, a table tennis table, and a foosball table. NEW: In spring 2026, a gate will be installed at the entrance to the courtyard.

The former farm, in a quiet, located in a small community near Chatelaudren. This small community has about 1,000 inhabitants, most of them live on agriculture. In the village there is a grocery store with a small "bistrot". Chatelaudren, 6 km away, offers further shopping. There, a market is held on Mondays (from 9 to 12 am). The next largest cities are Saint-Brieuc and Guingamp, about 16 km away.

Wonderful vacation destination

We were three for two weeks in LaLande and found it beautiful. The house is located very quietly a bit outside the village, which even has its own small shop, something that is not so common in this area. There is a great garden with many different seating and lounging chairs, fruit trees, flowers, and lawn, so you can make yourself comfortable at any time of the day. The house is very spacious and well-equipped. There is really everything for cooking and self-catering. We actually only used half of the interiors. Everything is in great condition and modernized, yet still has old charm. The kicker, table tennis table, available books and board games, as well as bicycles were of course a great finishing touch.
In 15 minutes you can reach the sea with various beaches to choose from. By car, you can also get to larger supermarkets, etc., just as quickly. There are many great excursion opportunities, not only towards the coast, that are easily accessible from the house. The landlords are very friendly and have great tips for activities. We are very grateful for a wonderful vacation in the beautiful Brittany!

Beautiful quiet cottage with lots of space

We stayed with one child and one dog in the very big holiday house. The house had everything we needed. Many sights and activities are easily accessible by car. There is a small store in the village where you can get supplies for breakfast. It is a bit remote, but very peaceful. We can recommend it! Unfortunately, the outdoor inventory (bicycles) is a bit outdated and needs maintenance.
The landlady is very nice, helpful with many tips for the stay.

Peaceful idyll

Plenty of space, facilities leave nothing to be desired, outdoor seating for any time of day, plenty of worthwhile leisure destinations beyond the beach and coastal visits - for which there are also plenty of tips from the very friendly landlady. A car is indispensable for the adventurous, but the peace and quiet make up for it. An option for us again at any time!

Wonderful

The house has everything you need. The location is rural and a bit away from Plouvara
The garden is really big and nicely laid out. The landlady is very nice and takes care of all your needs very quickly. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.

Recommendable vacation home

In September 2020, there were five of us staying in the beautiful holiday home. It is quiet and secluded, but you can easily drive to the nearby beaches and visit many other attractions. The house is spacious and well-furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. On nice weather days, you can enjoy the outdoor seating in the sun. There are also enough loungers to relax on. A table tennis table and bicycles are available. For cool evenings, you can use the well-functioning fireplace and enjoy a cozy glass of wine. There is a small grocery store in town where you can get baguettes daily. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation. The contact with the landlord was wonderful.

A lovely spacious holiday home in the quiet countryside of Brittany. The house is equipped with everything you might need, and you sleep in a comfortable bed. A great base to explore/experience the beautiful northern coasts of Brittany. Stunning viewpoints and along the entire northern coast runs the customs officers' route, a grand hike: you feel like you're in a different world. And for hikers; walking along the rivers inland is also beautiful (Chaos du Gouët). When you have a car, this house is highly recommended. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

Beautiful house

We were four people staying in the holiday home and had plenty of space. The house is just as described in the ad. We didn't miss anything in terms of equipment. Especially the kitchen is very well equipped with lots of glasses/cutlery/pots/cooking utensils. All the electrical appliances work (washing machine, microwave, blender, fridge, etc.)
All the rooms are spacious and there is plenty of space to store your belongings. It was clean and tidy. It's nice that the windows have external shutters, so it stays cool for longer in the heat and it's dark for sleeping. The house is quite noisy.
The property is large and you can play, sit, and barbecue on the lawn areas. There is a barn with a table tennis table and 4 bicycles. The location is absolutely quiet. Occasionally a car drives by.
There is a village shop in the village itself and larger shops 10 minutes away. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the beach. Great coast and sea for example in Saint Martin, Binic, and Les Rosaires.
Many sights can be reached by car in 1-1.5 hours.
Fort La Latte, Cap Fréhel, Granite Sea (Chaos du Gouet), Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel, Ile de Brehat, Pink Granite Coast, Carnac (Atlantic coast), Dinan, Quintin, Châtelaudren, etc.
The landlady is very nice, helpful, and uncomplicated.
We had a wonderful holiday and can highly recommend the house.
