The holiday flat is furnished with a cosy flair of rattan, wood and natural materials
"Arrive and feel good" is our personal motto!
A fully equipped, modern kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, kettle, coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, egg boiler and enough dishes for 6 people makes the heart of every hobby cook beat faster.
There is a beautiful bright bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet and hairdryer.
The bedroom is very friendly and quiet. Cots or junior beds and a high chair are available on request.
A combined living and dining area with a reading corner, many books and magazines, CD's and board games will certainly not let boredom arise.
The sofa can be converted into another double bed.
A bicycle cellar with various bicycles, a washing machine and a dryer are available to our guests.
A very Mediterranean roof terrace with a herb corner invites to many a warm summer evening with candlelight and a glass of Baden wine.
There is a dining table for up to 6 people, two deck chairs, a kettle grill and a large parasol.
For our younger guests, we have numerous play facilities, such as tractors, bicycles, sandbox, sidewalk chalk, badminton and much more.

Our holiday flat is located in the centre of Rheinau Holzhausen (no through traffic), approx. 6 km from Freistett
Our location is an ideal starting point for excursions to France and Alsace (Strasbourg approx. 20 km), to the Black Forest, Lake Mummelsee, Gutach-Vogtsbauernhöfe, Europa Park, Bühlertal, Gengenbach, Offenburg, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, the Markgräflerland and Switzerland.
Our village Holzhausen is a district of Rheinau with just under 500 inhabitants.
The nearest district, Rheinbischofsheim, has a bakery, petrol station, savings bank and pharmacy and is about 2 km away. Other larger shopping facilities are located in Freistett (approx. 6 km), Achern or Kehl (approx. 15 km).

Our holiday flat is located in a side street of Holzhausen, very quiet and with little traffic.
There is plenty of space for children to play.
There is also a large playground with a small football field in the village.
Storing your own bicycles is no problem.

Great short holiday during Christmas time
We had a great stay at Christmas. Mrs. Lacker welcomed us with a beautiful Christmas tree and homemade cookies. We lacked for nothing. Rarely have we had such a well-equipped vacation apartment. Thank you very much for the hospitality and the small gifts for farewell. We would love to come back. :-)

Vacation like at home!
We felt at home in the vacation apartment Auszeit. The hosts are very nice, uncomplicated, and child-friendly! The kitchen is very well equipped, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly! We can highly recommend the accommodation.
There is a lot to do in the area, and you can reach the attractions after short drives.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed and received very warmly. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated and simply inviting. As for the location, simply top-notch, everything is quickly accessible in every direction. The value for money is unbeatable. Highly recommended!!!!

A nice "break"
The vacation apartment is very clean, nicely furnished, and immediately feels like home.
Everything you need is available. Upon arrival, there were fresh flowers in the living room,
bathroom, and bedroom, which looked very inviting. The tranquility is wonderful, and
therefore, we were able to sleep very well. The landlords are very nice and provide great
tips for excursions. If we go on vacation in the area again, we will gladly book the "Auszeit"
(vacation) again.

A holiday apartment to feel comfortable
The apartment leaves nothing to be desired, it offers everything you need to live and feel comfortable. And much more.
We were guests from July 22nd to August 6th, 2023 and unfortunately had bad luck that the otherwise pleasant climate in the region let us down. All the better that the apartment is so lovingly and fully equipped that you feel comfortable even in bad weather.
The landlady is very hospitable and took loving care of our physical well-being and our general well-being. It was a wonderful time in the "Auszeit" (timeout).
