Description
The house was built in 1906 and renovated in 2014. The house has two floors, which are connected externally. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. On the first floor there is a kitchen with dining room, living room, bathroom, toilet and one bedroom. Before the house a large terrace is covered with vines. Behind the house is a beautiful view over the Gulf of Kvarner and the islands and the city of Rijeka. For the little ones there is a slide and a swing.

As the name suggests, the house is located in Sveta Jelena. The town is about half of the city 'Mošćenička Draga, Mošćenice and near Opatija. The place Sveta Jelena is located directly between the magical and beautiful d 'Istria peninsula between Quarnero- elegant and housed in our house, you have the chance to enjoy the pebble beaches and unspoiled nature of the Natural Park "Monte Maggiore ".The pebble beaches near Sveta Jelena rightly belong to the most beautiful beaches of the coast. Here are the beaches "Mošćenička Draga" and "Medveja" which are formed naturally by v gravel of the stream that comes from the slopes of Monte Maggiore. Apart from the crystal clear sea and the beaches, there are plenty of entertainment for the whole family: bars, pizzerias, restaurants, children's playgrounds, excursions, a diving school, different charter hire boats, jet skis, boats and other. Beyond the Sea "Mošćenička Draga" is a smaller beach Sv. Ivan. There is also near a nudist beach, located in a small bay. Then there are 2 intimate and beautiful beaches "Uboka" and "Jelenšćica" from where hiking trails lead from the street. A special experience awaits you when you come to these beaches by boat. Nearby is the famous beach of Brseč.

First vacation with dog :)))
We stayed for 14 days with 5 people and a Labrador in the accommodation for a beach vacation.
About the landlord: very friendly contact, always responded promptly. New towels and bed linen were brought in between, otherwise no points of contact.
About the accommodation: Everything was very clean, everything needed for simple dishes was also available. A gas grill was available, so we could prepare great fresh fish. On both levels, there is a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment.
The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were spacious.
Surroundings: Swimming was not easy on site, but we could swim very well in Rabac at the dog beach. A pretty little bay, very clean, clear water and for brave dogs, the possibility to jump from the cliffs. Our Elli was thrilled! Unfortunately, no shade, so definitely remember to bring parasols. There is also a free fresh water shower and a bar inviting guests to enjoy coffee and small dishes, dogs are welcome and provided with fresh water. We took the path daily, but it always took us about 45 minutes for a tour. On the way back, we could buy fresh fish at reasonable prices at Lidl in Labin. A great selection! Also, fruits and vegetables are top-notch with prices similar to Germany. Eating out was very good at Perun, two places away in Mošćenice, a great restaurant with breathtaking views of the sea, excellent service, friendly staff, and superb dishes. The village is also pleasant to look at, with a great view of Rijeka in the evening and charming narrow streets. In Mošćenička Draga, "Marina" is recommended. Very friendly staff, delicious dishes, and our dog Elli was welcome everywhere. Some small souvenir stands, but nothing big, a cute little harbor for a short stroll. We couldn't have asked for more for our dog and ourselves, as it was very hot, with little relief even in the evening.
Vacation with a dog in Croatia is absolutely recommended.

Wonderful
We booked the holiday home for 2 weeks with 8 people. Everything was perfect, from communication to questions and also the place is very idyllic. The coasts on the Kvarner Bay are not all easy to reach, but the effort is worth it, we had an unforgettable holiday. We ended every evening on the great terrace. The house lacks nothing, great facilities, everything you need. A great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns, yet we were everywhere quickly by car. Absolutely recommend and we would come again. Very best regards to the Skalamera family and a big thank you for their hospitality

Rural idyll
Beautiful quiet location on the mountain with a magnificent sea view from the living space. Very spacious and clean with stylish modern furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and basic spices. Romantic large bedrooms with king-size beds and extremely comfortable mattresses. The landlords live next door and are very helpful and uncomplicated. The diverse landscape between the Mediterranean coast and almost alpine mountain peaks offers many outdoor activities. Nearby are numerous idyllic beaches with crystal clear water. Culturally, there are countless picturesque villages and small towns to visit.

Great,quiet house with sea view and pergola
We spent 10 quiet and relaxing days here. Every day we enjoyed beautiful sunrises over the cavernous bay and discovered a different beach every day. Some of them are a bit hidden and can only be reached via steep paths (sturdy shoes necessary, then doable), but you are rewarded with a great view and breathtaking snorkelling opportunities. The house is 10 minutes away from all important things like shopping, restaurants and beaches or the ferry terminal, and yet you are away from it all and can escape the hustle and bustle. We also enjoyed the vine-covered pergola and whoever wants to can also have contact with the friendly residents or landlords. The house is very clean and offers retreat possibilities on two separate floors. It was ideal for us because we also wanted to go exploring and get to know the locals
We arrived and were immediately on holiday, you don't get that everywhere!
