Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is located on the outskirts of Großwig in a quiet location with a view of the forest and meadows. Here you can see the beginning of the Heidewald. Großwig is about 10 minutes away from Torgau. Due to its central location, many beautiful day trips can be recommended, such as Bad Düben (20 min.), Wittenberg and Leipzig (1 h), Spreewald (1.5 h) or Berlin and Dresden (2 h). Großwig is a district of the municipality of Dreiheide and nestles on the edge of the Düben Heath. Großwig was the village of 4 mills and not so long ago operated 2 water mills and 2 windmills. Today, a restored windmill stands on a hill in front of the village, which you are welcome to visit on request. Großwig has direct marketing of sausage and meat as well as a natural outdoor swimming pool with sports facilities in an idyllic location on the outskirts of the village. Hiking and cycling trails are available from the front door.
