This family-friendly holiday home in Holiday Village Park in De Haan for 1 - 4 includes a 187m² enclosed garden, with large sun terrace (20m²) with garden table and chairs and its own free parking space directly in front of the house. 3 bicycles free of charge.
From 01.06.2021 we rent 4 sunbeds, 1 windbreak and 1 parasol at the beach of De Haan.
We have rented a beach cottage where these things are stored. 4 sunbeds and 1 parasol cost 30,00 Euro per week
We have a corner plot, so there is an unobstructed view of the open field. The equipment includes a living area, the new bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC (separate), 2 bedrooms, 2 double beds, as well as a baby extra bed and a child's high chair. The fully equipped kitchen is waiting for you with dishwasher, toaster, 2 coffee machines normal and pad, egg boiler, kettle, electric cooker with ceramic hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave.

A personal free parking space directly in front of the house is included.
We have a second house in the same park, ideal if you want to holiday together with friends/acquaintances.
You have to bring your own bed linen. The house has Wi-Fi (free from 2017). De Haan has an 11 km long sandy beach where you can take a wonderful walk. In de Haan and the surrounding area, parking is free everywhere (including on the beach). Nearby are the historic old town of Bruges, Oostende and Knokke (22 km)
Many walking and cycling routes through the vast dune and polder landscape are mapped. The coastal tram will get you home quickly and comfortably.

The seaside resort of Ostend, about 12 km away, is also called the "queen of seaside resorts", has an entertainment district and about 300 restaurants.
The beach promenade stretches along the entire seawall and is lined with street cafés as well as restaurants.
The city is a transport hub (car, rail, ship and plane).
The world's longest tram - the interurban tram "Kusttram" - takes you to all Belgian towns along the coast from De Panne to Knokke.
Bruges is the capital and largest city in the province of West Flanders in Belgium.
The medieval city centre was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. In 2002, Bruges was the European Capital of Culture and is definitely worth a visit!

Cozy house and a beautiful location
My daughter gifted me a few days in Belgium for my 90th birthday and booked with Mr. Schmitz. An excellent choice, everything you need is there, clean and well-maintained, bicycles available for free use, much to my daughter's delight.
De Haan is a place for the heart and eyes, I am very enthusiastic and hope to be able to come again next year. I felt very comfortable, the weather was good, so we could also use the garden outdoors. All in all, the most beautiful gift and also to you, Mr. Schmitz and your wife, thank you for making this possible for me.
