The charming holiday home is located on the first floor of a former ancient Masseria, one of the extremely rare, which can be found directly on the sea. Come in ... From the living-dining room leads directly to the magnificent, spacious terrace. After a dip in the morning it can be outdoors nice breakfast. Here you can quietly relax. The ideal meeting place for aperitivo at sunset and romantic dinner under the stars, at Meeresrauschen understood. The sea is on your doorstep (sandy beach cove and rocks). Another idyllic bay is located right behind the house. The country, though not particularly large, has an appealing atmosphere and a personal touch. Warm colors such as terracotta, vanilla, orange in combination with natural stone applications on the walls and some antique furniture and prints lend the vacation home a pleasant, homely atmosphere. It has 2 bedrooms (one triple and one single) and is therefore particularly suitable for a couple or for the small family. Apart from the bathroom is on the terrace a further shower room with WC. The apartment belongs to the top, private area (see stairs) is excluded from the rental (It is, of course, not used in the times when the apartment is rented). Excellent location DIRECTLY by the sea. The apartment offers the spacious sea view terrace. (From here you can enjoy a 180 ° wide sea view). A kl. is sandy beach cove in front of the house. Another idyllic bay just behind the house. Nearby you have grocery stores, restaurants and bars, in the summer supermarket. The picturesque harbor of Villanova is a bay located further (800 m). Villanova is a traditional ancient fishing village. Large supermarkets, beautiful shops can be found in Ostuni, in Italy as the "White City" (6 km) known. Beautiful flat, but with drawbacks !
We spent 10 days in this holiday flat. Flat is well furnished and has a fantastic location with beautiful sea view. Very quiet place. Beautiful bathing bay right in front of the house.
However, you can hardly stay on the beautiful terrace, because there is always a family with 3 dogs living below this flat. The barking starts at 07:00 in the morning at the latest, until midnight and that almost continuously. Every movement in the vicinity is registered by the barking. So it's no good relaxing on the terrace, sleeping at night with the window closed.
I also complained about the mattresses, which were very worn out, and when one turned in bed at night, the other jumped around in bed. However, the landlord has promised new mattresses from 2021 and hopefully also the metal slatted frame.
It was a nice holiday, but I would not book the house again!
