The Goosekeeper's House faces the manor courtyard at the front and has a terrace with a large garden at the back.
The private pool is available to our guests during the season.
In the market garden there are trampolines and a slide, in the play vault table tennis and foosball.
The property is surrounded by an extensive natural area with meadows and forests.
The private houses are independent residential units with their own gardens and terraces. Birkenfeld was, until 1973, the smallest market town in Bavaria with a weekly market in what is now the summer garden of the palace grounds.
In 2014 it celebrated its 1200th anniversary.
The complex was built from 1738 to 1758 as a pleasure site on the site of a moated castle, in the rare Rococo style by Baron Philipp von Hutten.
The white bridge, known beyond the Franconian borders as part of the landscape park originally 30 hectares in size, is a reminder of this. As well as the Gesundheitsbrünnle, the Zitronenberg and the grown-together area of the former bowling alley, 'Sternschuss' and dance terrace.
The Celts already settled in the spring- and birch-rich valley.
