Description
The spectacular holiday home "NATÜRlich Wassermühle" was built in 1844 and now shines in freshly renovated splendour. The house is perfectly suited for couples, families and couples travelling together who want to treat themselves to a well-deserved break from everyday life and seek relaxation in the Schlei and Baltic Sea region. The brand new furnishings of the house combine elements of the shabby chic style with the most modern comfort. There are 4 bedrooms available for 5-8 guests
Two large living rooms are available for our guests, so that even larger families and couples travelling together will find enough space to feel comfortable. The wood-burning stove makes it really cosy and snug even in the colder seasons. From the winter gardens of the house you can enjoy the view of nature and the huge garden, and in summer there are numerous sitting areas in the outdoor area - whether in the beach chair, on the large lovingly planted terrace or on the lounge furniture of the jetty: there is a nice spot in nature for everyone. The little holiday guests will be thrilled by the numerous play possibilities in the garden, the large lawn is wonderfully suitable for romping, fruit trees can be climbed and there is even a small wooden playhouse. Your four-legged friends will certainly be happy about so much free space
Should the weather not play along, there is plenty of entertainment media to keep you entertained, as the house is not only equipped with three flat-screen TVs, a DVD player and a music system, but also with free Wi-Fi. For wellness enthusiasts, a sauna is available for use free of charge.
The garden of the historic water mill became famous as a filming location for the popular ZDF TV series "Der Landarzt" (The Country Doctor), as this was the home of the policeman Sven Olsen in "Deekelsen".
Two car parking spaces are available for our holiday guests on the property.
The DTV classification criteria serve as a benchmark for the equipment of the house - 5 stars are aimed for.
The "NATÜRlich Wassermühle" can also be rented together with the "Kleine Wassermühle" holiday flat below (max. 2 persons). Parties under the minimum age of 25 are not welcome.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home "NATÜRlich Wassermühle" is situated in a quiet location only 2 km from the city centre (within walking distance) and is romantically embedded in a hollow with a mill stream, behind the forest "Wassermühlenholz". A beautiful view of natural meadows and a 500 sqm garden pond awaits you. The Schlei is only 500 m away as the crow flies and can also be reached in a short time. The historic water mill has a registered biotope, which is also gladly visited by the heron. Our holiday home is located in the town of Kappeln, which is situated on the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei and offers several sights, the Schlei bascule bridge, Europe's only still functioning herring fence, the St. Nikolai Church and the Dutch windmill Amanda with attached historic sawmill.
The Schlei region is characterised by small picturesque villages located in the eastern hill country and is wonderful for extensive walks along the fields and meadows, the Schlei and the Baltic Sea beach, which is only 6-7 km away. The surrounding area can also be easily explored by bicycle.
The Schlei is also a popular spot for sailors, rowers, canoeists and sports boaters.

Dreams came true.
Never in our lives would we have dared to dream of what we have experienced and seen now. The house resembles more a castle with retreats for the whole family, than a "house". Each room is special in its own way. In the garden, you are right in the midst of nature while inside the cozy movies and amenities await. We want to come back because we can't stop marveling and praising!

a crazy vacation home!!!
This holiday home exceeds all expectations one may have of a normal holiday house. Each room in the water mill is uniquely, high-quality, and exceptionally furnished; it resembles more of a themed world where there is something new to discover in every room. Both the teenager feels comfortable in their cozy room with industrial furniture and the accompanying grandma feels at ease in the bedroom "Grandma's Best Room." The bathroom is huge and a real highlight due to the open beams, which are cleverly illuminated. We will definitely come back in the summer, as the garden is also fantastic. I am already looking forward to the terrace, garden in the beach chair under the fire pyramid. Absolutely fantastic!

Surpasses everything!
After our arrival, our mouths were wide open. . . We had already seen in the pictures that something beautiful was awaiting us, but all expectations were exceeded! A true dream house was waiting for us there. Each room perfectly and lovingly furnished and harmoniously coordinated. It was the best two weeks in a long time! Making cozy campfires in the evening and sitting by the pond. In the mornings, sending the children out into the huge garden to play, and in the afternoons visiting all the sights by car, having an action-packed and fun program. Many thanks also for the lovely little bedtime stories and the delicious jam! We will now always turn to DESIGNER TOURS for our Schlei vacation!
