Description
The half-timbered dream holiday home was built in 1674 and was completely gutted and extensively restored between 2005 and 2014.
The holiday home with children's room extends over two floors and has a floor space of 85 m². It is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. The staircase can be closed with a child safety door if necessary.
The living room with comfortable seating area and TV, as well as the bathroom with bathtub and washing machine are located on the ground floor.
The staircase with attached child safety gate leads to the children's room, the bedroom and the kitchen, which offers ground-level access to the terrace (south side behind the house).
In the large house floor, there is a reading corner with a rocking chair for a cosy stay. The flat is also equipped with a selection of books and DVDs.
The windows in the children's room and the attic are lockable. In the children's room there is a large wardrobe, a desk and two single beds. A baby travel cot can be added in the bedroom (double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m), free of charge of course
The spacious kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, cooker with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. A children's high chair can be provided (free of charge). From here you can access the 24 m² sun terrace with barefoot flooring.
The attic flat is suitable for two people, has a floor space of 44 m² and a separate entrance.
It has a bedroom (double bed 1.60 x 2.00 m), a small bathroom with shower and a large kitchen-living room with refrigerator, cooker, oven, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and TV.
The flat is equipped with a selection of books and DVDs.
Especially beautiful is the wide view from the glazed roof gable towards the west over the Hermsgüner Eisenbachtal with village pond.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home "Fachwerk-Traum" is located on a side path and has two flats, which can be connected via an intermediate door if required.
Hermsgrün is a cosy village, which is largely surrounded by forest and completely free of disturbing through traffic and wind turbines.
Only a narrow road connects the village and crosses the typical Vogtland woodland farmland.
The houses of the approximately 150 inhabitants nestle on the slopes of the idyllic Eisenbach valley.
Several ski resorts, two state spas and the Musikwinkel are in the immediate vicinity. Therefore, Hermsgrün is not only interesting for hiking enthusiasts.

For hot days, the 10 m² covered shade terrace is ideal (with electricity and light, of course).
There are two garden tables and six garden chairs with cushions, as well as four sun loungers.
Next to the shaded terrace is a small lockable room for bicycles and ski equipment.

Such a beautiful old house …
... so carefully renovated, it is simply beautiful! The house is nicely furnished and comfortable both in great heat and quite cold (we had both this August!).
The surroundings are as quiet as they are green; there is a flock of sheep as a visual highlight.
We had a very relaxing holiday there!

Peace and relaxation in nature
We spent two weeks as a family with two teenage children in Hermsgrün and used the whole house. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in nature, this is the right place for you. You can walk from the house or drive a little, the Vogtland is green and beautiful everywhere. Next door you can watch a flock of sheep. The area also offers culture: Markneukirchen with musical instrument making, Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz with the space exhibition. Bad Elster is not far away, and the Czech spas are also easy to reach.
In the lovingly renovated house, nothing is missing, the equipment is perfect and cozy, there are several nice details. Thanks to many books, movies, and games, you can also have a good time on rainy days. The Weigel family welcomed us warmly, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Cosy and family friendly holiday home
We treated ourselves to a few days off in the Vogtland with our children, aged 4 and 5. This holiday home was the ideal accommodation. It is located in the middle of the village and yet surrounded by greenery. The property is not fenced off, but the very quiet location meant that our children could play and ride their bikes undisturbed near the house. There is a newly built playground about 300 m away
The house is super clean, lovingly renovated, tastefully furnished and offers everything you need to live.
The landlords are very nice and take great care to ensure that their guests want for nothing.

A cozy vacation home
The vacation home is simply great, beautiful cozy rooms, very tastefully furnished, everything we needed was available. We used the two vacation apartments with 7 people. Through a clever layout of the two apartments, they can be used separately or easily as one apartment. We think that's a great idea. It was also the perfect starting point for our hikes on the Erzgebirge ridge trail.

A cozy, great holiday home!
Very friendly hosts!
The holiday home is very well maintained, tidy and super clean! We felt at home with 5 people, very cozy! Everything was lovingly furnished. Especially the needs of the smaller guests were considered (bathtub and child safety lock for the stairs). The house also has a separate storage room for skis and sledges, simply great!
In the area there are shopping facilities, as well as many excursions such as castles, museums and hiking trails.
We will gladly come back!
