Welcome to your holiday home in Saint Pete!
Enjoy your morning coffee on our palm-lined terrace, unwind by the sparsely attended pool, or play a round of tennis on the free courts in the park across the street!
The cottage has been in our family for over 20 years, and in recent years we have completely renovated it and brought it up to German standards.
Why do we feel so comfortable in our residence? Quite simply because it is not a holiday village. That's why you enjoy the following advantages:
- Quiet nights - because our neighbours are working and celebrate rather seldom
- Fun at the pool - because apart from you, there are hardly any other holiday guests who would have time to swim during the day
- Security - because there are no houses or flats that are deserted for months on end, no matter in which month you arrive
And what else? There is a small park for jogging in front of the residence, as well as free tennis courts and a half pipe for skaters. If you feel like it, you can watch a baseball or football game at the neighbouring high school on many an evening - pure American lifestyle!

- 15 minutes by car to the beaches - for example to the nature reserve Fort Desoto or to St. Pete Beach
- Small park for jogging and with free tennis courts and playground right in front of the door
- 1.5 hours by car to Orlando with its theme parks like Disney Land or Seaworld
St. Petersburg / St. Pete Beach is about half an hour's drive from Tampa on the west coast - and thus on the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful powder-white and empty sandy beaches and an almost endless range of water sports make it an ideal holiday destination. Some stretches of beach are pristine and protected, making them home to pelicans and other rare seabirds. Nearby, sports enthusiasts will also find horse and dog racing tracks, as well as baseball and American football stadiums.
Short trips to the Everglades, South Miami Beach or Walt Disney World (Disneyland), Sea World, Universal Studios or Kennedy Space Center can be done in about 2 hours by car, and the Keys are also usually on the agenda of holidaymakers.

In our house you will also find 1 parasol, 2 fishing rods, 2 tennis rackets, badminton rackets, a golf set incl. trolley (left-handed) as well as sand toys, various swimming aids, a cool box as well as 3 bicycles (2 for adults, 1 16-inch children's bike) - all of which you are welcome to use freely!
The bathroom is a bath accessible from both bedrooms and contains both a toilet and a shower/tub combination covered with sliding glass doors. Each bedroom has its own vanity with sink and storage space.
Minimum rental period: 10 days.
Attractive discounts for long-term tenants: 15 percent for a rental period of 1 month, 20 percent for a rental period of 2 months, 25 percent for a rental period of three months.

We inherited the cottage from my husband's parents, we rent it out mainly so that we don't have to sell it and therefore not continuously.
