Ždrelac is a town on Pašman, one of the islands in the Zadar archipelago, which is connected with the town of Biograd by a ferryboat communication. This settlement developed around the church of Sveti Luka (St. Lucas) and expanded to several coves and the surrounding hills, including a new settlement near the bridge.

It was named after a narrow passage, called Zdril, on whose end it is situated and which divides Pašman and Ugljan islands. Ždrelac is situated on the intersection of sea routes for excursions to nearby islands and the Kornati archipelago. It is an attractive destination for boaters and water sports enthusiast.

Over the sea straits, dividing Ugljan and Pašman islands, a 210 m long bridge was built in 1973. Next to it lies a big weekend cottage settlement.

The island economy is based on agriculture, wine-growing, olive-growing, fishing and tourism. It is situated on the regional road.

The attractive Ždrelac straits and irregular coastline with beautiful sand beaches make this an attractive vacation spot. Beautiful beaches and clean sea attract tourists and weekenders, which makes Ždrelac the most popular resort of the citizens of Zadar.
