Beautiful, everything is just right.

A beautiful holiday home with everything you need.
Starting with a cozy interior to a perfectly equipped kitchen.
Good mattresses, a bathroom with everything you need. Even a washing machine is available.
Very cozy terrace.
The house is completely fenced in, which was a big plus for us as we were there with our dog.
All of this is managed by the most loving hosts you could wish for.
We were provided with garden products such as peppers, tomatoes, figs, melons, and even fresh eggs from their own chickens.
To top it off, we were given homemade olive oil as a gift to take home.
The whole property is located in a quiet area with a view of the mountains that allow for beautiful hikes with a fascinating view of the sea.
After our hikes, we went to the sea in the evening, which was also 850 meters away.
You don't need a car to go shopping, as a modern supermarket can be reached in about 500 meters.
For us, it is already certain that we will come back next year, and then for three weeks.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful, friendly hosts. Ready to help with any issue. The cottage is an oasis of peace. Own, fenced area. The dog was running freely. Large terrace where you can eat meals. 10 minutes to the beach and city center. Wild beaches, not far away by car, are beautiful. Like in a fairytale. Thank you for delicious vegetables, fruits, and eggs :). The kids were delighted. Thank you for everything.

All around a heartfelt thank you!

We met a warm-hearted, open-minded landlord family. In our many holidays we have rarely met such a nice family.
We were spoiled with home-grown vegetables, fruit and eggs. Interesting conversations about the country and its landscape included. A holiday that will stay in your memory. Absolutely recommended!

The Best Vacation

The house is top-notch, cleanliness, terrace available, fenced property. The landlords Mijo and Zdravka are super nice, you can't have a better vacation. Our dog Skipper (boxer) also felt very comfortable. It's not far to the beach. We will definitely come back next year and are looking forward to seeing everyone again. Best regards to all.

Highly recommended!

First of all, our thanks to the Markovic family; such nice and warm-hearted people are not found everywhere! So hospitable, we were even allowed to eat the fresh fruits and vegetables from the family garden. The hosts are also happy to chat in between to share tips or simply recount their experiences. The accommodation is exceptionally well-kept and very well equipped. A truly idyllic little holiday cottage with a terrace and garden. The car also has a sufficiently large space on the fenced property. We were with our son and our two dogs for the first time in Croatia and would really love to come back here. The center and the beach of Zaostrog are about a 10-minute walk away, so you can enjoy the holiday peace in the accommodation while not being too far from the promenade with shops and restaurants.
So: highly recommended! ! Thank you very much for the lovely time with you, we wish you and your family all the best!

Dear Markovic family, we thank you very much for your hospitality, warmth, and helpfulness. We felt very comfortable and were completely satisfied. Your so clean, tastefully and lovingly furnished house is very well equipped with all the necessary things: a superbly equipped kitchen, bathroom, very comfortable beds, and much more. The fenced land, planted with beautiful flowers, is very well maintained and has a perfectly clean barbecue area. The terrace is simply great, offering a beautiful view of the mountains and pleasant temperatures at any time of the day. Thank you also for the delicious vegetables and fruit from your garden. Your house, located in a quiet and convenient location, comes highly recommended! We would love to come back. It was very pleasant staying with you. for the 2nd time

a warm hello to all! we stayed in this accommodation for the second time in june and were amazed. after we had complained last year about the lack of a covered terrace or a large sunshade as the only negative point (complaining on a high level), we couldn't get out of the amazement when we arrived. super great terrace built, a hammer. everything else as usual, super nice landlords, who we have really taken to our hearts in the meantime. if you don't mind that it's about 500m from the beach and the centre, if you're looking for peace and quiet, a great little house with privacy, this is the place for you. we'll definitely be back. book it, you won't regret it. i'd give it 6 points now. thanks again for a wonderful holiday to fam. markovic. lg christian and sabine

Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful week here with our two children in a very well-equipped holiday home. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The accommodation was equipped with everything one needs and is only a few minutes from the beach. We can only recommend this accommodation to everyone and will gladly come back, but then we will stay a bit longer.

Beautiful accommodation

Super great accommodation, nice landlords, unfortunately only one air conditioning unit, so the house doesn't get cool, unfortunately there is no oven, and it's more than 500m to the beach. It would be nice to have a sunshade outside. The landlords are great, very friendly and helpful. The house is really recommended, the pictures should be updated, small note: my critique is of a high standard. I would book again.

Very beautiful holiday home

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the house of the Markovic family with 3 children. The little house is very well maintained and clean, and the hosts are very warm and helpful. We were allowed to pick fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. Mijo and Zdravka were by far the best hosts we have had so far.
The beach in Zaostrog is very beautiful in itself, but unfortunately overcrowded during our travel time. However, there are many small beaches around Zaostrog (2-5 km) that are not so crowded.

absolutely recommended

After we saw the photos on the internet, we decided to book it. Everything went absolutely smoothly. Upon arrival, we were somewhat disappointed, as the terrace shown in the photos no longer exists. It has been closed off, but there are large sliding windows that open wide. Nevertheless, for our purposes, it no longer has anything to do with a terrace but rather resembles a veranda, and I personally find that unfortunate, as one enjoys sitting outside properly during the summer while still being protected from the sun, unless you carry the table and chairs around to the back of the house in the morning and to the front in the evening, which is not everyone's cup of tea. Furthermore, I must say that we had two extremely hot weeks, and the air conditioning can only cool one room while the other remains unbearably hot. That is, of course, a subjective opinion from us; others might find it pleasant. So, that was it with the complaining. I want to note that we were 99 percent satisfied; I would even say thrilled! Because such a nice and accommodating landlord family is rare to see in Croatia, and I have been going to Croatia at least once, often twice a year for 33 years. The landlady has a lovely vegetable garden where we were allowed to help ourselves to our heart's content. On the last day, she prepared lamb with potatoes, and I can't express my enthusiasm. The best lamb of all time. The place itself is small, yet lively and has beautiful pebble beaches. The shopping options are somewhat limited, though. If you want to buy fresh fish, you have to drive at least to Gradac, which is only 6 kilometers away. All in all, I can recommend this accommodation and the place mainly because of the wonderful owners with a clear conscience, and I would like to say once again thank you for this beautiful and unforgettable vacation. We stayed in the cottage for only one week and felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect! The house was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped with everything you need. The beds were also very comfortable. We would love to come back!

Completely satisfied

We were there with 2 children and more than satisfied. Super friendly hosts, and fortunately, the grandchildren, who were the same age as our children, were also there and immediately started playing together. The house is very conveniently located for walking to the beach or exploring the surroundings by car, including Split, Dubrovnik, or the nearby BIH. Hiking is also possible directly from the house towards the mountains. Those expecting luxury and 100% functionality are in the wrong place. Family vacation

We had a very nice and relaxing vacation. Whether without or as we did with two small children, the little house offers the best for both; you feel comfortable right away, it is clean, well-equipped, super spacious with a beautiful garden and an outdoor grill. It fully meets the need for peace, comfort, and relaxation. The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is optimal, not far from the town center and beach, yet still quiet. Clearly, the vacation home gets my absolute recommendation.

Comfort house, small and cozy!

We had a wonderful, relaxing, and comfortable feel-good week in the holiday home with four of us. We made great use of the beautiful garden and the kitchen with its super equipment. Quiet and beautiful location!

A wonderful vacation all around. The small house is the ideal complement to this great coast. The contact with the landlord is characterized by a warmth that is hard to find. Of course, I recommend this accommodation without any reservations. By the way, due to the favorable geographical location, leisure activities in this corner of Dalmatia, such as swimming, hiking, excursions to interesting places nearby, and of course to nearby destinations like Split, Makarska, Dubrovnik, etc., are possible without much effort.
