A wonderful bathing lake, many offers in the holiday complex, climbing forest, zoo (Jaderberg), play barn (Edewecht/ Friedrichsfehn), numerous designated cycling tours, appealing gastronomy and the striking distance to the North Sea (Varel, Dangast) should not let your holiday become boring
If this is too much of a holiday for you, why not take a shopping or cultural trip to nearby Oldenburg or visit the Naval Museum in Wilhelmshaven. Golfing, water skiing or sightseeing flights from the small sports airport not far away expand the holiday options in the immediate vicinity

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is situated on a large forest plot in a small and quiet holiday home settlement. The large bathing lake and the sandy beach are about 50 metres away. The high-quality and lovingly furnished non-smoking house offers space for 4 people and very good holiday comfort
The North Sea can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
At the house 2 bicycles for adults + 1 children's bike can be used. A rubber dinghy is also available.
NEW: A SAUNA HOUSE IN THE GARDEN (two persons) !!! 300 m to a small shop with basic supply incl. fresh bread rolls (April to October), 15 minutes drive to the next village with discounters (Aldi, Lidl, Netto, Edeka), bakers and other usual shops, 15 minutes drive to the North Sea/Dangast, 25 km to Oldenburg.

Cosy turn of the year by the fireplace and in the sauna
We spent a very relaxing week in the Red Cottage with our short and grandma. We will gladly come again.

Wonderful turn of the year in a wonderful house
We liked the Red Cottage exceptionally well - from the tasteful furnishings to the quiet location to the sauna. Every detail has been lovingly thought through. Well-equipped kitchen in which we cooked a lot and with pleasure. The contact beforehand was very nice and everything was perfectly organised. We had a very quiet and relaxing turn of the year in Ammerland and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Romantic and wonderful for relaxation
We were very satisfied, the house is lovingly furnished and we felt very comfortable. The sauna is well explained and the fireplace is very cozy! Highly recommended!
