• The large, comfortably furnished living room is fully equipped with a wall unit and a well-stocked bookshelf. A seating area, consisting of a coffee table, 2 armchairs, and a couch that can be pulled out into 2 sleeping areas, invites you to relax. A floor lamp, a television set, and a DVD player complete the furnishings.
• The kitchen is also large. It is equipped with a table and 4 chairs, a very spacious kitchenette with a huge ceramic hob, extractor hood, coffee machine, kettle, egg cooker, microwave, toaster, slicer, fridge-freezer, and an oven. Pots and pans as well as cutlery, dishes, and glasses for 4 people are available.
• In the bedroom, there is a large wardrobe and a double bed with 2 nightstands as well as two "valet stands" at your disposal. • The spacious bathroom includes a toilet and washbasin, a shower cabin, and a bathtub. It promises pure relaxation after a busy or exhausting day.

The holiday apartment is located in a completely renovated villa, in a quiet area on the edge of town, about 1 km away from the town center. Parking spaces are available. On the approximately m² large property, located directly on the edge of the forest, our visitors have various relaxation options. Those who want to start their hike here will find themselves in the open nature with a wonderful view of the village and the Werra Valley just a few meters away. Our offer is completed by a private terrace with a barbecue. Dorndorf/Rhön is part of the Wartburg district and is located between the foothills of the Thuringian Forest and the Rhön on the left bank of the Werra river above the mouth of the Felda. The first documented mention of Dorndorf is in a donation certificate by Charlemagne dated August 31, 786. This document also indicates that Dorndorf is thus the oldest known wine-growing region in Central Germany. The place name "Weinberg" still exists today.
Since 1994, Dorndorf, together with the neighboring village of Dietlas, has formed a unified community and is one of the oldest villages in the entire area.
Nestled in the surrounding hilly landscape of the Vorderrhön, we can offer our visitors and residents excellent recreational opportunities. The extensive forests of our homeland, its rivers, streams, and floodplains, provide relaxation and recreation throughout the year.
