Dreamlike idyll by the lake

In a highly scenic landscape, you can only feel good on this spacious property: Go for a swim (possible with a wetsuit even in October), paddle a kayak (children), sit around the campfire and observe and enjoy nature. The chalet is cosy, especially when the stove warms you in the evening, and you will find everything you need to be happy. The surroundings tempt you to go hiking and cycling (for the athletically ambitious).
Inns, which are between 10 and 20 minutes away by car, invite you to try regional cuisine. We also took a bike tour (with almost no incline) to the source of the Moselle.
Denise and Urs are incomparably warm and helpful and their Tierlis are simply to fall in love with.

Dream honeymoon

A sweet little chalet in a magical place with a huge property
If you love nature and animals, this is the place for you
Boating and swimming in the chalet's own lake, barbecuing and drinking coffee in a dreamlike setting or a romantic day by the fire in the chalet are just a few examples of the many possibilities right on site

All you can say about the surrounding area is: pure nature and tranquillity with forests, meadows and lots of "ponds" and lakes. A paradise on earth for hiking fans

We must also emphasise the warm hospitality of Denise and Urs. They always had an open ear and were immediately on hand if you needed anything

wonderful

For a week we were able to enjoy the wonderful nature and seclusion. The wonderful view of the pond with the beautiful jetty, rowing with the boat, swimming in the pond, barbecuing in front of the chalet, looking for blueberries, walking in the endless forest - everything was perfect and totally decelerating. Even our dog felt at home right from the start. Thanks for the wonderful time to the perfect hosts Denise and Urs!

First of all: 10/10 is not nearly enough for the holiday we spent in Urs and Denise's wonderful chalet. The hospitality was unobtrusive, if you want to retreat you have 100% privacy. Nevertheless, the two of them are wonderful company. The chalet is equipped with everything (and more) you need. Nature, animal visits and the lake with boat were wonderful. What can we say: we will be back! You can cook, hike, swim, barbecue on your own fireplace and are always taken care of immediately if you have any questions. Many thanks for the unforgettable time. dream location

The chalet impresses with its dreamlike location with a private lake and total tranquility!!! It is perfect for those seeking peace and guests who love nature. Good hiking opportunities directly from the chalet. Supermarket quickly accessible by car. It is less suitable for guests who cannot limit themselves to nature, tranquility, and scenery but want more hustle and bustle, because without a car and further driving distances, there is not much going on in the area. However, we really liked it with our dog in great weather, especially the good night's sleep. Hosts very attentive (some drinks were provided in the refrigerator upon arrival, small snacks and treats for our dog).

Idyllic, quiet, and very relaxing

Four women (two adults, two children) were excellently accommodated in the cozy chalet. Our children were very excited about Trixi and the other animals. Herbert, the swimming flamingo, also came fully into use in the warm bathing lake.

A true oasis of nature and peace to rest and relax!

Today we came home after a wonderfully relaxing week at Chalet Mignon, and I have to admit, we left a bit sad and nostalgic...! A wonderful place of peace and relaxation! Thanks to the lovely landlords Urs and Denise for their very pleasant hospitality! Peace and relaxation, pure nature, simply brilliant!

It is not easy for us to find the right words for this special place. . . . . we, (2 adults and three children aged 13, 11, and 8) have really enjoyed this week. The tranquility and the beautiful location with the many lakes and the green forested hills are truly paradisiacal! To bathe in the private lake, row in the small boat, discover the forests, visit the many animals, and even to ride was truly amazing. In this short time, we have already taken Denise and Urs, the friendly and very accommodating hosts, deep into our hearts, which made saying goodbye to this beautiful spot not easy at all. THANK YOU very much! ! ! !

Pure relaxation in nature.....

Those seeking peace and relaxation in nature will find an excellent place with Denise and Urs. The idyllic wooden cottage located on a plateau offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The hosts are extremely warm and pleasant. The area is ideal for excursions, walks, etc.

Pure relaxation!

A wonderful place to unwind from everyday life and relax.
We really enjoyed our week there, especially the very nice hosts!
You can go on wonderful walks in nature from there, as well as take short trips to picturesque old towns like Belfort.
Or simply enjoy the sun in a lounge chair with a book.
We made extensive use of the barbecue facilities.

Everything was wonderful and harmonious.

Simply beautiful!

What I have been searching for a long time, peace, the feeling of spaciousness, beautiful, wild romantic nature. My dog and I enjoyed the wonderful walks in the forests right outside the front door. You feel like you might encounter fairies and trolls in the woods. After the walks, relaxing by the lake and sitting comfortably in front of the fireplace in the chalet in the evening. The cottage has everything it needs, it is comfortably furnished. The hosts Denise and Urs have created a paradise, they don't let anything be missing and are wonderful and caring hosts. I would have liked to stay longer and my dog didn't want to leave at all. I will definitely come back!

The perfect place to relax.
The tranquility in this beautiful nature, simply wonderful.
The weather couldn't have been better.
I really enjoyed swimming in the enchanting lake
and the lovely hikes nearby. There is still much to explore there.
The small chalet is very cozy with plenty of space outside, whether for grilling,
reading, or just enjoying. It lacked nothing. The morning greeting from Maxli, the tomcat, was a great joy for us every time.

Naturoase

We were already at Chalet Mignon for the second time. These breaks in the beautiful, quiet surroundings away from the hustle and bustle allow us to recharge our batteries for everyday life. Reading, exploring the nearby and distant surroundings with our dog by hiking or jogging, we always enjoy very much! Excursions by car to the pretty villages in the area are also recommended. The landlords are always happy to give tips on this.
The chalet offers everything you need. Denise and Urs are the perfect hosts!

Perfect to relax!

We were there with our one-year-old child and it was great! The little one had so much to discover, and as a family, we finally had time for ourselves and could really relax. Denise and Urs were the perfect "landlords"; we felt very comfortable.

Pure nature in the Chalet Mignon

Exactly as we wished for, pure nature, wild romantic, and heavenly quietness. Directly from the chalet, we could wander delightfully through the forests. Our children, 7 and 9 years old, enjoyed the small boat at the natural lake and the large meadow for playing. There is a nice fire pit and small seating areas for relaxing at the chalet. The chalet is ideal for 2 adults and 2 younger children. Denise and Urs are especially lovely hosts who are happy to fulfill their guests' wishes. Highly recommended for people who love nature!

A dream in the Vosges, France.

If you want to stop time once; if you love mountains, trees, and meadows, then this is the right place for you. A dreamy view, a beautiful lake, horses, cats, and romantic accommodation. Whether swimming, hiking, jogging, cycling, or just unwinding - everyone can find something for themselves here. Not far away are cities like Besancon or Nancy, and in the immediate surroundings: plenty of charming small towns. We (family with two children) will gladly come back to two wonderful hosts. And we gladly give the extra half star for the amenities - it's just that the technology didn't seem to cooperate.

Let your soul dangle.......

For all those seeking peace and relaxation in nature away from hustle and bustle, and who do not need all-inclusive entertainment. Surrounded by meadows, forests, lakes, and birdsong, one is invited for romantic walks or walking tours. The surroundings can be explored by bicycle on lightly traveled roads. We have visited the romantic chalet with the warm hosts Denise and Urs several times already, and surely a few more visits will follow.

In the autumn of 2013, the four of us spent our first vacation at Chalet Mignon, and after a week, we all agreed that we wanted to come back. So, in spring and summer 2014, we were drawn back to France to Denise & Urs, and we did not regret it for a second. Each season has its very special and unique charm and invites you to leave behind the stresses of daily life. While we adults must enjoy the simple yet comfortable life, the peace and idleness, the children live it up in nature while playing or reading, reveling in the fresh air. We all agree: we will come back!

Es Träumli

We had wonderfully beautiful days with Denise and Urs. Away from the hectic everyday life surrounded by pure nature with countless lakes and lovely forests. The small house is located on a small hill with a view of the lake. Really cozy for relaxing together and forgetting about time. It has everything you need and incredibly charming. Although close to the main building, you have your privacy and are on your own. If you need anything, Denkse and Urs are always happy to help. We highly recommend this little paradise and would love to come back again!

Dear and attentive hosts! The home is equipped with lots of love, the only thing missing for culinary delicacies is a "Flotte Lotte"! Recommended for simple holidays, without luxury. Superchalet für Naturfreunde

We spent one week there with our children...Superbly located, very friendly hosts, well-kept chalet in the midst of untouched nature, deer at the edge of the forest in the evening, simply peace and pure relaxation!! Balm for the stressed nerves - Pure relaxation

It was a few wonderful relaxing holiday days. The little cottage was small and cozy, simply perfect to feel comfortable. Denise and Urs are wonderful, lovely landlords. The surroundings are pure tranquility. It was a balm for stressed nerves. Our dog also enjoyed it very much. Hours of long walks were good for him and us. It was a bit secluded for our daughter (9 years old), but we managed to fill the time very well. We felt very comfortable and still fondly remember our vacation in France.
