Enjoy the golden autumn with us.
Holidays on the farm without stress in a unique idyll in the region of 1000 lakes in the Southern Vosges (approx. 1.5 hours from Basel and Freiburg i. B.). The chalet is currently in winter hibernation; we are happy to accept bookings for next year (from April 24).
Chalet Mignon is located in the middle of a 12-hectare private farm property with its own natural swimming lake in a nature reserve on the Plateau of 1000 Lakes. (Region of a thousand ponds) It is located at 560 meters above sea level at the foot of the Saône Vosges. Peace, nature, and animals have top priority here.
The cozy Chalet Mignon features a living room with a sofa bed and dining table, a small kitchen (hotplates, refrigerator, microwave-grill), as well as a small bathroom.
Chalet Mignon offers space for two adults with two to three children. Under the two roof gables there is a sleeping area each with a bed width of 160 cm and 140 cm. The sofa bed can also be converted into a bed.
The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Bed linen, towels, toilet and household paper, oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, sugar, salt etc. are provided.
The chalet can be heated with a Swedish stove. For warmer days, there is a ceiling fan.
Internet, WiFi are available free of charge. Outside there is a terrace, plenty of seating, fire pits for grilling, and lots and lots of open space. Our natural lake invites you to swim in the summer. Deck chairs are available.
In summer, we enjoy temperatures between 25 and 35 degrees in good weather; in autumn, it stays pleasantly warm during the day with somewhat cooler nights. The chalet is situated in the midst of nature, and it is quite possible that you may see a deer grazing in front of the door, a hare hopping away, or a wild boar scurrying by. It is located where the fox and the hare say goodnight to each other!

Location and surroundings of object
The chalet is located in a secluded location near the forest on a meadow about 80 meters from the farmhouse.
Wonderful hiking / biking trails in untouched nature with many lakes borders directly to land. It has to be tackled on a hike likely animals than humans.
The nearest hamlet (La Mer) is Km and the nearest village (Faucogney) in 4 Km distance. In Faucogney there are: pharmacy, doctor, bakery, small shop, post office, ATM, restaurant, car garage, church etc. In summer there is every Saturday from 16h - 20h a market with local products Faucogney.
In Mélisey (10 Km), a larger supermarket is a beautiful vegetable department and fresh meat sales. Also various other shops, among others pharmacy, butcher, florist located in the small little town Mélisey which lies on the river Ognon. Not far from Mélisey is a very well located swimming pool with slide for the children.
On Wednesday morning market is in Mélisey.
In just 30 minutes drive from the beautiful little town Luxeuil-Les-Bains where there is a health spa and various restaurants invite to dinner.
There are various excursions for all ages.
Faucogney-et-La Mer lies at the foot of the Vosges saonischen Regional des Milles Etangs (Region 1000 Weiher). It belongs to the region of Franche Comté and is located in the Haute Saône.
But one could still write a lot at best you get yourself look! Here, nature is still intact.

Nature, idyll, relaxation
We had a wonderful week of relaxation in the little house. Denise and Urs are very warm hosts. The chalet has everything you need. The accompanying pond provided a welcome cooling off in the great heat. The surrounding forests and ponds with the many forest paths invited us to delightful hikes. We didn't need the car the whole time. Except on Thursday, when there is always a small market of traders in the nearby town of Faucogney. This chalet is especially recommended for families with children, as there are four horses and goats, cats, and a dog on the farm that enjoy attention.

Cherry Room
Getting out pure... for the umpteenth time, we have returned to Denise and Urs to spend a few quiet days in beautiful nature. This time we were in the Cherry room. The loving decor radiates a calm warmth in which one can let go. We felt very comfortable. Denise's breakfast was, as always, plentiful and super delicious. Pure idyll
Actually, we never go to the same place on vacation – but with Denise and Urs, this was already our third time.
We are always thrilled again by the warm hospitality, the idyllic peace, and the green mossy forests.
You arrive and feel immediately at home – ideal for a hiking or cycling holiday, to unwind, recharge, or simply to jump into the lake.

Peace and beautiful surroundings
Denise and Urs are great hosts, every wish is fulfilled. I even got to take Trixie, their nice dog, for a run. The little house is completely private, you only get visits from the rabbits and the birds, very suitable for unwinding and recharging energy.

Wonderfully quiet accommodation by the lake
We spent a wonderful autumn holiday at Chalet Mignon together... with many wonderful hikes - the maps were available at the accommodation - fantastic. We got delicious pastries from the nearby patisseries and enjoyed them on the beautiful terrace, in the garden, or by the lake. Our hosts Denise and Urs treated us like long-time friends, for which we are sincerely grateful. We will gladly come back and can highly recommend this small chalet to all nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking tranquility.

Wir sind immer wieder aufs Neue begeistert von der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft, der idyllischen Ruhe und den grün bemoosten Wäldern.
Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl – ideal für einen Wander- oder Fahrradurlaub, zum Abschalten, Auftanken oder einfach, um in den See zu springen.
Unsere Gastgeber Denise und Urs haben uns wie langjährige Freunde behandelt, dafür ein herzliches Dankeschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses kleine Chalet allen Naturliebhabern, Wanderern und Ruhesuchenden nur wärmstens empfehlen.
für uns war der Urlaub in eurem Chalet wunderschön. In dieser Natur fiel es uns leicht Gedanken und Wünsche schweifen zu lassen und zur Ruhe zu kommen.
Es gibt viele Wanderwege nahe der Unterkunft. Wir haben es sogar geschafft, auf kleinen Strasse die Berge rauf und runter zu radeln. Und dies alles bei wunderschönem Wetter.
In der näheren Umgebung sahen wir mehrere Waldtiere.
Vielen Dank für eure liebevolle Unterstützung.

Gasthöfe, die zwischen 10 bis 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind, laden zur regionalen Küche ein. Wir haben auch eine Radtour (fast ohne Steigung) zur Moselquelle unternommen.
Denise und Urs sind unvergleichbar herzlich und hilfsbereit und ihre Tierlis sind einfach zum Verlieben.
Wer die Natur und Tiere liebt, ist hier genau an der richtigen Adresse.
Boot fahren und Baden im hauseigenen See, Grillen und Kaffee trinken in traumhafter Kulisse oder ein romantischer Tag bei Kaminfeuer im Chalet sind nur ein paar Beispiele für die vielen Möglichkeiten direkt vor Ort.
Über die nähere Umgebung kann man nur sagen: Natur und Ruhe pur mit Wäldern, Wiesen und ganz vielen „Teichen“ und Seen. Für Wanderfans das Paradies auf Erden.
Hervorheben muss man hier auch die herzliche Gastfreundlichkeit von Denise und Urs. Sie hatten immer ein offenes Ohr und waren sofort zur Stelle, wenn man etwas benötigte.

Es ist für Ruhesuchende und Gäste die Natur lieben perfekt.
Gute Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vom Chalet aus. Supermarkt mit Auto schnell erreichbar.
Es ist weniger geeignet für Gäste die sich nicht auf Natur, Ruhe und Landschaft beschränken können sondern Umtrieb möchten, denn ohne Auto und weitere Fahrtstrecken ist wenig los in der Umgebung. Uns hat es allerdings mit Hund bei super Wetter total gut gefallen, v.a. die gute Nachtruhe.
Gastgeber sehr aufmerksam ( etwas Getränke waren bei Anreise im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt, kleine Knabbereien und Leckerli für underen Hund
Unsere Kinder waren sebr begeistert von Trixi und den andern Tieren.
Herbert, der Schwimmflamingo, kam auch voll zum Einsatz im warmen Badesee.
An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank an Denise und Urs für die schöne Woche.
Vor allem wenn man die Natur liebt, Tiere und wandern, ist es ein ideales schönes Häuschen!
Das Häuschen hat alles, was es braucht, es ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber Denise und Urs haben ein Paradies geschaffen, sie lassen es an nichts fehlen und sind wunderbare und fürsorgliche Gastgeber. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben und mein Hund wollte gar nicht mehr weg.

Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen , vor allem die sehr netten Gastgeber!
Man kann von dort aus wunderbare Spaziergänge in die Natur aber auch Kurztripps in malerische Altstädte wie Belfort unternehmen.
Oder einfach in einem Liegestuhle mit einem Buch, die Sonne genießen.
Die Grillmöglichkeiten haben wir ausgiebig genutzt.
Es war alles wunderbar und stimmig.
Die Ruhe in dieser so schönen Natur, einfach wunderbar.
Das Wetter hätte nicht besser sein können.
Das baden in dem zauberhaften See habe ich sehr genossen
und auch die herrlichen Wanderungen in nächster Nähe. Da gibst noch Einige zu entdecken.
Das kleine Chalet ist sehr behaglich mit ganz viel Platz draußen, sei es zum grillieren
lesen oder einfach genießen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.
Die morgendliche Begrüßung von Kater Maxli war für uns jedes Mal eine große Freude
Denise und Urs, zwei feine Menschen und herzliche Gastgeber.

Das Chalet bietet alles was man braucht. Denise und Urs sind die perfekten Gastgeber!
Denise und Urs waren die perfekten "Vermieter", wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Und den fünften halben Stern bei der Ausstattung geben wir gern - nur die Technik wollte das irgendwie nicht.
gepflegtes Chalet inmitten unberührter Natur, am Abend Rehe am Waldrand, einfach Ruhe und Erholung pur!! Die Gegend eignet sich sehr gut, um das ursprüngliche Frankreich zu entdecken.
