Casa Maria is a detached house with two bedrooms in a secluded location in the countryside. Distance to the sea / beach (distance) is approximately 1000 m. The location is very quiet. Sea view one has of the house, the terraces - especially the roof terrace and the land and the garden. The house has a huge area with typical vegetation and of course the flower world is in the garden. The environment is a stunningly beautiful, almost uninhabited countryside.

The house is on the edge of a farm land with open views to the natural own river valley and the mountains (Tuttavista, Concajana (ehm. Volcano), Monte Ospili, Monte Irveri and in the background Monte Tului 1250m, Sopramote di Barbagia and Monte Albo), and on magnificent sunrises over the ocean. The river valley is an evergreen mixture of oleander gorse, wild pistachio, wild olives, wild pear etc. (Macchia) The house is situated on a 38 hectare cattle ranches occupied land (50 free-range goats, many beehives and small livestock), the Gulf of the Orosei (about km from the sea) surrounded Sardinian Macchia, on the edge of an olive grove, in a quiet location. The nearest shopping facilities are in about 8km away Dorgali, which also offers numerous traditional festivals with some free samples from regional production (pecorino, red, traditional Gbietetebäck) throughout the year. Hiking (eg Goroppu, Tiscali .....) The house is located about 2km from the sandy beach "Osala" Bay Cartoe (also sandy beach) is also walking about 2km.
In the season (end of June to end of September) there are at the beach bar and pedalos. Otherwise, there are in the immediate vicinity except our house no more infrastructure.

We offer our guests from our organic production: goat milk and goat cheese, olive oil, honey, wine, vegetables, eggs. It is possible to participate in agricultural activities such as vintage, olive picking, etc. A stay without a car is possible: Bus transfer from the motorway, and Dorgali. Big kids and friends can camp surcharge on our property, with sep. Sanitary facilities, caravans and campers are also welcome.

Ingenious for nature lovers
Away from mass tourism, not an oasis of peace. Pragmatically, creatively furnished, very clean house. The terrace is a dream. Enjoy the far-reaching view of the sea in the hammock in the shade under the olive tree. Very nice, authentic hosts who like to bring their own cheese, olive oil and wine even on Sunday evening. Very nice beaches as well as hiking and climbing possibilities nearby. However, a car is advantageous. We will be very happy to come back! Thank you!

Adventure holiday on the farm
If you are looking for the peace and seclusion of a small Sardinian farm, you will quickly find it here! Situated between pine trees and macchia in a small valley, you will find an island of relaxation. The house is practically and functionally furnished, but you shouldn't expect luxury. The roof terrace was a real treat, because having breakfast on it in the morning and the possibility to watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean Sea are really great. In the evenings, we also used it to watch the stars, because there are hardly any disturbing light sources. The animals, some of which are free-range, and the proximity to the beach and the mountains at the same time make for a great atmosphere. My girlfriend and I fell in love with this place straight away. The hostess is extremely nice and accommodating and always had an ear open for our problems. However, you should have a car to get to the various sights in the vicinity
Speaking of leisure time: In my opinion, this place is very suitable for active holidaymakers who need a lot of sport or exercise, but also just as good for relaxing on the small secluded sandy beaches of the small bays nearby. Cultural things like in big cities can only be experienced by travelling further, in this place the landscape and nature clearly prevail!
For us, this place was ideal, because we like to spend our holidays secluded and away from big tourist resorts.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Tolle, ruhige Lage in der sardischen Bergwelt, zwischen Supramonte und Gennargentu gelegen. Zu Fuß ist der Strand in 15 min. zu erreichen und Ruhe ist garantiert!
free time activities: Hier sollte man eher aufzählen, was nicht geht, denn alles andere kann man machen: Man kann spektakuläre Wanderungen durchführen im interessantesten Wandergebiet Sardiniens, oder man kann an den Traumbuchten in der Nähe von Cala Gonone den Tag verbringen. Klettern, Schnorcheln, Tauchen, Kiten, Radfahren, Museen, Ausblicke genießen ist alles in direkter Nähe machbar! In Dorgali kann alle möglichen Arten von Exkursionen: Boote, Jeeptouren, Kletter- und Wandertouren etc.
shopping facilities: Dorgali ist die nächstgelegene Stadt zum Einkaufen, mit dem Auto ca. 15-20 min. entfernt. Dort findet man alles in den drei Supermärkten und vielen kleinen Läden, was man benötigt
