The former country house is located right above our farm and belongs to one of the oldest farms in the upper Elbe valley. After extensive renovations to the interior and exterior, the country house reopened to guests in October 2015.
There is room for up to 16 people (extra beds on request) in a beautiful half-timbered house with a fireplace room, a vaulted room and a large, modern kitchen for cooking together
A campfire site, playground, forest and a magnificent view from the terraces to the Elbe, Königstein Fortress and the other Table Mountains round off the overall picture of this house. In the house there are 6 separate rooms with up to 4 beds and 5 separate bathrooms on two floors. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, a large fireplace room, a beautiful vaulted room and a guest WC. Parking spaces are located directly at the house.

The former country house is located directly above our farm.
Campfire site, playground, covered terrace, forest, and a magnificent view of the Elbe and the fortress complete the overall picture of this house. The property is framed by our adjoining forests, and the former Napoleon Road leads directly to the house and the adjacent parking spaces. This means you are staying on a very cozy, large property with many opportunities for relaxation and adventure. Halbestadt is a whole thing.
The district of Halbestadt lies along the Elbe between the widely visible table mountains Lilienstein and Königstein. The country house is situated on a generously designed terrace directly in the large bend of the Elbe around the Lilienstein. Our holiday home is accessible via a small road that becomes a dead end. As a result, there is little traffic in front of our holiday farm. You can reach Königstein station (1.5 h to Prague, 45 min to Dresden) in a few minutes via an Elbe ferry, as well as a landing stage for paddle steamers. All important climbing and hiking areas are easily accessible by public transport. The old Napoleon Road runs by the house. It leads through the forest and across the extensive paddocks of our neighbors on the Ebenheit to the Lilienstein.

A dream vacation!
We spent New Year's Eve 2015/16 with nine adults and a lot of children in the freshly renovated country house. One of the most beautiful holiday experiences I can remember. Dreamlike surroundings and a well-equipped house with a kitchen with all the trimmings and comfortable bedrooms on the two upper floors. The highlight is the large fireplace/living/game room with three large couches and enough space for the toy train brought along or the found Playmobil airport hustle and bustle. Equally suitable for chamber music and hiking plans. It's a shame that the next New Year's Eves are already fully booked! We would come back again and again. Maybe we'll try it in the summer. Just in between.
