Description

The bungalow has a floor area of approx. 60 m², which is divided into a living room, a children's room, a bedroom, kitchen, toilet and a separate shower. All wet rooms are equipped with hot and cold running water. The kitchen is equipped with: an electric cooker with 4 hotplates and oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The living room and the shower are equipped with electric heaters so that the bungalow can also be used on colder days. The bungalow itself stands on a large terrace, which has a basement. There you will also find the very spacious shower. A TV, books and various games are available for leisure activities on days with bad weather. Enjoy your breakfast at sunrise on the huge terrace with an incomparable lake view. Or end the evening with a barbecue and a cool drink in peace and quiet. Garden chairs, garden loungers, a parasol and a charcoal barbecue are available for this purpose.
The garage is not accessible by car. However, it offers an ideal opportunity to store your bicycles, SUP's or boat, fishing tackle or other sports and leisure equipment.

Location and surroundings of object

The property is located in the vicinity of the campsite "Saalthal" near the village of Bucharest. To the reservoir is 50 m. About 500m from the bungalow there is a dining establishment with good Thuringian cuisine. There is also a diving and surfing school, several boat rental and a beach nearby. The bungalow is situated in terraced hillside in Saalthal / Age at Hohenwarte reservoir. The Hohenwarte reservoir is one of the nearly 80-kilometer-long, five-stepped cascade hall. In addition, there are saale down the equalization tank and Eichicht saale up the equalization tank Burgk Walsburg the dam and the dam-hole lead.

We had a very relaxing week in this beautiful bungalow.
The location and the furnishings are great. The rooms are newly renovated, the kitchen is fully equipped, and everything you need is there. The beds are comfortable, the terrace is huge, and the garden furniture is new. (Large glass table, chairs, loungers, sun umbrella, grill)
In the basement, there is a shower and a storage room for bicycles or similar. There is a lot of space.
A TV and board games are also available. The car can be parked directly at the bungalow.
The communication with the landlord was very pleasant.
The bungalow is absolutely recommended.

Vacation can't be more beautiful.

We wanted to spend a week of vacation at the Hohenwarte dam this year and found Mr. Schindela's bungalow on the internet. The huge terrace immediately excited us, and the other photos also showed cozy rooms. We arrived at the dam on time and were very kindly guided to the bungalow by Mr. Schindela via mobile phone. If you know the way, it is quite simple. Parking in the available parking space also got better day by day. Now we could take possession of the bungalow (1 couple and one individual, all between 62 and 70) and immediately noticed that the basic equipment in the property was perfect - we missed nothing. And everything was very cozy and inviting. The shower is located under the terrace, is still quite new, and very spacious. One actually enjoys showering there. And the terrace with table and chairs as well as sun loungers is great; you have a fantastic view over the water, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.

In slightly worse weather, Saalfeld with the Fairy Grottos, the Ranis Castle, Rudolstadt with Haideck Castle, Schiller House, St. Andrew's Church, farmhouses, and page houses can be quickly reached by car; in nice weather, you can go swimming, boating, or take a walk. So, we were absolutely thrilled and can definitely recommend the bungalow.

Dreamlike view and relaxation

In June, we stayed for a week in the really beautiful vacation apartment. The furnishings are well-maintained and quite modern. The highlight, however, is the terrace with the stunning view of the Hohenwarte Dam. Absolute recommendation, we would love to come back!

Highly recommended, even with a small child!

For toddlers, it's great! The terrace is perfect for jumping around and playing, including a wonderful view of the water! The location is excellent, and it's just a few steps to the water. Nothing was missing. The apartment is cozily furnished. Fairy lights and tea lights on the terrace invite you to linger in the evenings. We felt very comfortable.

Beautiful :-)

The accommodation is modern and equipped with a feel-good factor. Everything we needed was available. The view of the reservoir in the morning during breakfast and in the evening while grilling is simply fantastic. It is also relaxing and quiet, and both the landlord and the neighbors are extremely friendly and helpful.
We often went swimming in the reservoir. The water is clear and wonderfully soft. I recommend wearing water shoes, as it is a bit rocky.
We went on beautiful tours: my recommendations are the Mooshäuschen (wonderful view), a visit to the Feengrotten, and also the Feenweltchen with children. I also recommend a trip towards Löhma. You can park at a hiking parking lot and hike to a bridge that goes over the pipes, where you have a great view.
The Feuersalamander_Wanderweg is interesting for children. The starting and ending point is Leutenberg, and at the end, if the children answer the questions correctly, they will receive a reward. Finally, I also recommend Meura. It is very idyllic there with the Haflinger stud and a hike to the Meurasteine with a dream view into the valley for adventurous little climbers.
If you want to bring bikes, I would recommend e-bikes, as the area is constantly up and down ;-)
All in all, we had relaxing, active, and adventurous days :-)))

Super holiday

A very beautiful bungalow
in a quiet, dreamlike location with a great view of the Hohe Warte reservoir and easy access to the lake on foot. The bungalow is very clean and wonderfully furnished, has everything you need and leaves nothing to be desired. Very very friendly landlords...always happy to come back!

Small but nice - with a mega view

We stayed with our 3 small children during our summer holiday in this very lovingly furnished and prepared bungalow at the Hohenwarte dam and can recommend it without reservation. The bungalow is located on the sunny side and offers a mega-beautiful view of the dam from a large terrace. The walk to the beach is pleasantly short and easy to reach even with children. The landlord is very nice and communicative. We will be very happy to come back. Thank you very much!

Everything done right :-)

Located in the upper area of the bungalow settlement, the bungalow offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a still very original environment. Ideal for two to three people, it could get a bit tight with more people if the weather is bad. On sunny days, the huge terrace with a view of the lake is a dream. If it gets very hot, the parasol may not be sufficient, but there is always a shady spot to be found. The bathing area with shallow entry into the water is only a few steps away. If you don't know the lake - bathing shoes are good if you don't like stones. The water is very clean. During the week, you are almost alone, the peace at night and in the morning is incredible, but on weekends it can also get louder if other guests do not considerate. The landlord is reachable for all questions and helps quickly with any problems. I really enjoyed my stay and can only recommend the bungalow. The price-performance ratio is also good.
