NEAR THE HOGE KEMPEN NATIONAL PARK
Our holiday home is located in the Sonnevijver holiday park in Rekem, in Belgian Limburg, right in the middle of a beautiful, natural environment. Anyone who enjoys cycling or mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, or swimming will find numerous opportunities here to actively enjoy nature.

If you prefer to take it a bit easier, you will find a lovely spot to relax and read in the green, tree-surrounded garden.

Nature practically begins right at the doorstep. A special highlight is the nearby Hoge Kempen National Park.

CYCLING THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL LIMBURG LANDSCAPE
Limburg is a paradise for cyclists. On the Belgian side, there is a cycling network with more than 2,000 kilometers available. You can start your ride into nature directly from the holiday park.

Would you rather ride through a hilly landscape? Then cross the Maas and you can reach Valkenburg in the Netherlands by bike in about an hour.

With the well-developed cycling route network, you can easily put together your own tours.

ENJOY AND DISCOVER: ATTRACTIVE CITIES CLOSE BY
The Burgundy-influenced Maastricht as well as the Flemish cities of Genk, Hasselt, and Tongeren are very close and easily accessible by bike or car. Hasselt is also known as the "Capital of Taste."

Liège and Aachen are also excellent for a day trip.
A special destination is Tongeren. Here, the largest antiques and flea market in the Benelux countries is held regularly. A wonderful excursion for anyone who likes to browse and enjoy the special atmosphere of historic towns.

HIKING DIRECTLY FROM THE HOLIDAY PARK
Hiking enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. The former princely estate Pietersheim, covering an area of 76 hectares, borders directly on the holiday park.

Here you have eight hiking routes with a total of more than 70 kilometers at your disposal. The varied landscape with stream valleys, wet heathlands, and steeper slopes makes hiking a special nature experience.

Excellent premium hiking trails

Two of the eight hiking routes have been designated as premium hiking trails by the renowned German Hiking Institute. These trails are checked according to strict quality criteria and stand out for their particularly attractive hiking experience.

OUR HOLIDAY HOME
Our cozy holiday home offers space for up to four people. Since it is located on the edge of the holiday park, you can enjoy extra peace and quiet here.

The house includes a large garden with a terrace. The many trees provide pleasant shade and make the garden a wonderful place to relax, even on warm summer days.

With a bit of luck, you can observe and hear squirrels and numerous birds right at the house. Nature and relaxation simply belong together here.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a total of four beds.
