Set in the picturesque landscape of the Vosges Regional Natural Park, this charming holiday apartment occupies the entire first floor of a peaceful rural home, attached to the owner's residence. Located in the heart of the Pays de Bitche region on the border of Lorraine, Alsace, and Germany, the property serves as a scenic gateway for outdoor enthusiasts, surrounded by dense forests, walking trails, and historic villages.

Featuring its own private entrance, the home offers a self-contained layout complete with two comfortable bedrooms, a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom. Guests can step directly onto a private balcony to take in views of the surrounding nature.

Holiday apartment, fully air-conditioned suite. Ultra-modern fully equipped kitchen, Giugiaro Design, Coffee machine with bean grinder and Ceramic induction hob. Nice area but here "idle" and restaurants are not authentic but a lot of pizza and kebab .....

Beautiful views over the scenic beauty. See impressive Citadel of Bitche. Lovely home for those who seek tranquility in a beautiful village. Delicious walking environment. Nice owner, who is very helpful the house showed. Everything all right, perfect atmosphere and tranquility

We really enjoyed getting out and about in this part of Lorraine. The town of Bitche itself is almost the least prosperous in the area but still had some interesting curiosities - the Peace Garden and Animations at the Citadelle are a must. The Villa was located on the outskirts of the town but we enjoyed our early morning walks into Antoine's to get breakfast. Shopping was also easy. The area is full of museums and things to do - fascinating history on the Maginot Line and at all the Crystal and Glass museums - the Lalique Museum at Wingen-sur-Moder and it's cafe were brilliant. There are lots of things going on in the villages during the summer. However, you do need reasonable French (or German) here as there is very little else spoken. We had trips into Germany and we also decided that for travelling down from England we would use Belgian, Luxembourg and German roads as they avoided French tolls and le grand depart for the French holidays. We would now like the apartment transferred to another area of Alsace/Lorraine as we feel we have &quotdone&quot this particular area - travelling around is quite slow on the local roads. We had a lovely time.

Great house to stay, the lady who does the counseling is very friendly and helpful. When we had a problem with wifi she was half an hour there to solve the problem. Too bad they did not speak English, but with a bit of French and German e come a long way. Furthermore, the location good for excursions. Castle Bitche is definitely worth a visit.
