The house is certified according to the CETS standard (European Charter for Sustainable Tourism) and adheres to the Tuscany Charter of Sustainability.
We renovated the house according to sustainable criteria, with local raw materials and a strictly Tuscan style. The furniture is solid wood, never plastic. All the house accessories are eco-sustainable (some even self-produced) and free: bed, bath, and kitchen linen only in cotton, never in polyethylene. Personal and kitchen detergents are self-produced from organic materials or organic-certified.
You will have an entire ancient stone and wood house at your disposal, comfortable for four people. In the evocative stone gallery leading to the courtyard, guests will find free pedal bicycles and a charging station for your e-bike. Safe place to store bicycles.
The house offers a private terraced courtyard, open to the valley and equipped with table, chairs, deckchairs, umbrella, barbecue, and wood-fired oven. A true jewel of the house, where you can try your hand at preparing bread, pizza, the famous Tuscan "Panigacci," or Ligurian "Fugassa." Inside, comfortable living spaces on two floors (limiting in case of walking difficulties), two double bedrooms, a reading and music room, two bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen (with espresso machine), and a dining room with table and chairs for six people. Washing machine, modern comforts, and free Wi-Fi connection. Since we do not simply wish to rent out houses, but to offer opportunities for meaningful experiences and discoveries, for 2026 we are offering many activities for free: Italian and Tuscan cooking, foraging, biodynamic gardening, hiking, herbalism.
Guests staying for three nights can choose one activity, while those staying for seven nights can select two from the available options. You can make free use of a Book-crossing library, a secure bicycle storage, and an e-bike charging station. Some bicycles are available for free.
Upon your arrival you will find a basket of fruit, pasta, bread, oil, coffee, and for stays of at least 7 nights, a bottle of wine.
We donate part of your rent to support the Village of Solidarity of the Social Cooperative Il Pungiglione. As a sign of gratitude, upon your arrival you will find a package of organic honey produced by the Cooperative.
