Welcome to the holiday apartment Landhof Groß Breese – your perfect retreat in the heart of Brandenburg.
The 67 m² holiday apartment at Landhof Groß Breese offers space for up to four people and is located in a quiet, rural setting near Wittenberge in the Prignitz. The apartment is on the ground floor and is easily accessible. The living and dining area, two separate bedrooms, as well as the bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet are bright and functionally furnished in a simple country house style. The atmosphere is deliberately calm and comfortable. Ideal for relaxing after a day with your horse, on foot, or by bike.
A special advantage is the focus on guests with their own horse: you can book a box for your horse (30 euros per night) or a pasture paddock (20 euros per night) in addition. For technical reasons, only the “horse box” option can be reserved via the portal by selecting “pet.” If you have special requests – such as a combination of box and paddock, accommodation for several horses, or paddock-only housing – please simply include these directly in your inquiry so that I can organize your horse’s accommodation precisely as needed. The country estate is an ideal stopover for riding and hiking routes in the Prignitz, for example along the Elbe or on paths through fields and forests. Even without a horse, you can enjoy the quiet location and the wide trails starting right at the estate. I am happy to give you tips for rides, hikes, and bike tours in the area.
The two bedrooms provide restful nights with comfortable beds and fresh linens. The well-kept bathroom is equipped with fresh towels and a hairdryer. The modern kitchenette offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals. A dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, and a coffee machine are available, so that longer stays with or without a horse are also comfortably possible. In the open living area, a television invites you to relaxing evenings, while free Wi-Fi and a selection of games and books provide entertainment and information. Final cleaning, bed linen, towels, electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and TV are included in the price; there are no additional charges.
In front of the house you will find seating in the greenery, which is ideal for an outdoor breakfast or quiet reading hours. You can use the grill and the garden and end the day with a view of the yard and pasture. A private parking space is available for your vehicle directly at the house.

The country estate Groß Breese is located in the Prignitz, a spacious, rural region in the northwest of Brandenburg, just a few kilometers from the Elbe town of Wittenberge. The holiday apartment is situated on the outskirts of Groß Breese in a quiet, secluded location on Groß Breeser Allee and is surrounded by fields, meadows, and rows of trees. This creates short distances to nature: directly from the estate, paths lead into the open landscape, ideal for horseback riding, walks, and bike tours. As a trail riding station, the farm is located directly on the long-distance riding trail “Gestütsweg,” which connects the Brandenburg State Stud Neustadt (Dosse) with the State Stud Redefin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This makes the location especially suitable for riders who are planning several stages through the Prignitz and wish to combine horse accommodation and holiday apartment in one place. The surroundings are part of the Elbe river landscape and belong to the cross-state biosphere reserve, which is known for its wide dike paths, near-natural floodplain areas, and rich birdlife – especially migratory birds in spring and autumn. Along the Elbe and its tributaries, quiet routes for cycling tours and nature observation stretch out, while small villages, forests, and fields shape the typical image of the Prignitz. Despite the rural location, the connections are good: Wittenberge with its train station, shopping facilities, restaurants, and cultural offerings can be easily reached in a short drive. In the surrounding area, towns such as Perleberg, Bad Wilsnack, and Havelberg invite excursions with their historic town centers, churches, museums, and a varied cultural program. For active guests, the region offers not only riding and cycling trails but also several leisure activities: the Prignitz Bathing World in Wittenberge, the Kristalltherme in Bad Wilsnack, canoe and water tours on the Stepenitz, or a visit to the stork village Rühstädt are easily accessible from Groß Breese. At the same time, the country estate itself remains a quiet retreat to which one returns after excursions or longer rides – with plenty of peace, wide skies, and a distinctly rural character.
