4* OYO, you're truly On Your Own, There's typically just one person at the front desk, They do daily housekeeping to keep your room clean and tidy, plus fresh towels, which is nice, There's also a DND sign if you need some privacy, They've refurbished the downstairs area, so the rooms have a bit of a mismatch right now, But honestly, you're just here to sleep, The bed is comfy and spotless, You get a safe, an ironing board, and an iron in the room, There's no small kitchenette for hot drinks, but you're in MY, where coffee shops are everywhere, Our view was just of a wall,

This hotel was perfect for our first visit to New York, The location is fantastic, just a quick 30-second walk to Times Square, The staff were friendly and very helpful, The rooms are simple and a bit small, but they were cleaned daily and worked just fine for our stay, The walls are quite thin, so it can get noisy, but we brought earplugs and it wasn't an issue at all, Just a heads up, there is a facilities fee that includes tax ($45 per night) and a $100 deposit per night, We received our deposit back without any hassle when we checked out, All in all, the location makes this hotel a great choice!

I would easily give 4 stars thanks to the kindness of the staff, even though I could have given 3. I had some apprehensions reading the reviews about this hotel, but in the end, everything went well. No hidden fees, the extra charges are simply the city taxes, which are usual in New York and clearly indicated on their website. The rooms do lack insulation, but it didn't bother us too much with the outside noise. That said, a little refresh of the rooms would be welcome... there are some signs of wear and the beds are a bit unstable. On the other hand, the cleaning is done every day. I am quite happy with my stay because we benefited from an exceptional rate (I think it's unbeatable) and I had no unpleasant surprises regarding costs, contrary to my fears. The location is really ideal!

Visited 2/27/25-3/1/25,,,, I was in town to catch some shows and found this place to be an ideal spot, The reviews had me a bit anxious, but I ended up having a really nice stay, Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, Sure, the room was on the smaller side and the bed made some noise because of the metal frame, The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear doors shutting in the hallway, but it didnt disrupt my sleep, Overall, its a good deal for the price you pay and the short time spent in the room, The hot water in the shower was a great relief after long days of exploring the city,

We recently had a wonderful stay at OYO Times Square and were extremely satisfied with the staff, amenities, and location, In comparison to another hotel just a block away, OYO was far superior! First off, I can't emphasize enough how amazing the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! Additionally, we appreciated having control over the temperature in our room, and we didnt hear any noise from the hallways or neighboring rooms (or smell any smoke!), The accommodations were modern and up-to-date, We chose OYO for its location and affordability, but we found that it was a bit too close to Times Square for our liking, There was an outdoor concert happening that we could hear quite clearly from our room, However, we were tired enough from our day that we managed to fall asleep anyway! It was fantastic to be right at Times Square and just a few minutes away from Central Park and some of our favorite dining spots, We would absolutely return!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay in New York City, The OYO is just a quick 30-second stroll to Times Square, making it super convenient to access nearby restaurants, bars, theaters, and major NYC attractions, with Rockefeller Center only a 5-minute walk away, The rooms are simple yet clean, and theyre a good size for couples, featuring a comfy bed and a decent-sized bathroom (just a walk-in shower, no bath), The staff at the OYO are truly exceptional, with special mentions to Maria and Gazzy at the reception, They were always ready to offer their insights, made us feel right at home, and promptly addressed any concerns we had, Were already looking forward to our next visit! Just a heads up, there is a resort fee of $44,75 per room, per night, including taxes, which is due at check-in, I assure you, you wont be disappointed as this hotel serves as a fantastic base while you explore the city and offers great value for your money,

After reading all these negative reviews that worried me a bit, I wanted to share my own experience at Oyo Times Square. A huge positive point is undoubtedly the location, which is ideal! The room was quite acceptable, it's not luxury, but it was clean, with sheets and towels changed every day, and the bed was comfortable. Despite the immediate proximity to Times Square, we didn't hear a sound from our room. We had no issues regarding the deposit. We had an excellent stay. If you're looking for a hotel close to everything, don't hesitate!
